We loved the location looking down over the countryside and the Mediterranean Sea. The hosts had excellent communication and provided many suggestions for places to eat during our stay. The view from the B and B is quite amazing. I really enjoyed the veranda enclosed by windows. Made for a lovely breakfast. The breakfast was yummy!

Our favorite hotel on our trip to Italy! Rooms are so cute and quaint and beds are comfortable. The views from the shared patio are unbelievable and it’s such a comfortable place to hang out and take in the view. Perfect location, on the trail to Corniglia and just down the street from the main road in town and the beach. Great value and wonderful experience, hosts were lovely!
Vernazza was overcrowded. The trains that accessed the town were horribly overpacked and at times the city streets were impassible. I hope that the tour groups that flooded the trains and streets will be limited in number in the future otherwise the quality of life in this beautiful village will be diminished,

Vernazza was a beautiful unique place to visit--so glad we were able to experience it! The hike from Vernazza to Monterosso was somewhat difficult because of so many steps but very worth it for the views. We would have liked to have taken the ferry back to Vernazza from Monterosso but it had not started running for the season yet, so we had to settle for the train. It's nice to have options!

We loved everything about Vernazza!
We loved everything about Vernazza! It is way more beautiful than I had pictured! It almost doesn't look real! The restaurants, food, drinks and dessert were all delicious! We hiked above the town and had breathtaking views! We were there in March so we had some rain upon arrival in the morning, but the sun came out on our hike and it was beautiful! We walked every where from the train station~ it was so easy to get around! The shops are darling and we bought several items! I would HIGHLY recommend visiting Cinque Terre!!!

We loved Vernazza.
We loved Vernazza. We enjoyed the views, the little harbor was beautiful.
The Tower views over looking the ocean and village was fantastic!
Our experiences in several restaurants were excellent. Plenty of shops for Souvenirs. Vernazza was also a great home base to visit the other villages of Cinque Terre. Our favorite Village.

City is beautiful with fine restaurants, but nearly impossible during the day when tour groups and day tourists overrun the town. Hiking was even difficult due to the number of persons on the trails. Trains between Cinque Terra towns were extremely crowded and unconfortable and station boarding platforms were shoulder to shoulder with passengers. We used the ferries instead of train if not in a hurry.
Our first visit to the Cinque Terre area and it exceeded our expectations. Our hosts were extremely helpful and made sure we were well prepared for the visit and made us aware that Vernazza was a completely pedestrian village. The room was top notch and the location could not be beat. We visited right before the tourist season started which we found to be an advantage as our hiking and shopping was done without crowds. We had great weather and the convenience of the train allowed us to move up and down the coast with ease.
WOW! Very cool home in the busy town of Vernazza. Very close to the train station. The host provided great directions to make it easy to find the place. The apartment it self has 3 levels with a beautiful roof top patio with an amazing view of the city. The home is brand new, very modern, haven't seen anything like this in all of Italy. The bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen area is beautiful, with laundry machine and dishwasher. Would be great to cook a meal with friends. Would stay again and wished we stayed longer.
Arguably the best spot in Vernazza!
The apartment is in the heart of Vernazza right above the main square overlooking the bay, you are literally steps from the beach.
The place is very well kept and equipped. The bed was also very comfy.
It was a convenient location being just 100m from the train mainly down hill on arrival, making it easy with luggage and not many stairs, which is hard to come by in Cinque Terre.
Marcella was also kind and accommodating, very responsive to messages. Check out and in was simple.
My stay here in May 2022 was a treat. Room 2 is a lovely, well appointed room. The host was warm and welcoming and the location is perfect. It is like staying in a mini-hotel. I didn't want to leave and if my budget didn't depend on the lowly NZ dollar, I would have stayed longer. This place is 9.9 out of 10! My only tiny problem was the saggy mattress; maybe in need of replacement.
Room 2 has a fridge, which is great for avoiding the expensive charges for breakfast in Vernazza.
Absolutely beautiful location! Right in the centre of Vernazza. Views are awesome!!!
The room is a standard size, comfortable enough for two people. Bed was good - no issues. The room includes a mini fridge, kettle and cups which were helpful. Bathroom is small which is pretty standard for Italy wasn’t an issue for us.
We slept with the windows open (due to heat etc) so the light comes in the morning but with an eye mask no issues!
we love this place so much! the view is excellent. room was big, clean and decorated very well. we liked the hotel so much we decided to spend the second day of our visit to cinque terre as we figured the view from the balcony was better than actually going to the towns
staff are very friendly they make good breakfast. dinner at the hotel was very good and well priced
If you stay in Cinque Terre, you will have to climb lots of steps; it is unavoidable. With this apartment, there are some steps to climb, but relative to almost every other apartment, you will climb fewer steps staying at this one. Vernazza is a small town, and this apartment is centrally located. Conveniently close to the train station.
If you want to stay in Cinque Terre, you need to stay at Casa Cato! It will exceed your expectations! Vernazza is the best town in the 5 villages! The staff at Casa Cato are exceptional! They will help you plan your days to maximize your time in Cinque Terre. The views are everything you want for a stay in Cinque Terre!
The staff at the hotel and restaurant is exceptional, super friendly and very helpful, best Pesto pasta I've ever had and they give you a 10% discount, check in/check out was super easy, they made me feel at home, would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Cinque Terre !!
Everything was amazing. Awesome location. Right near restaurants and even train station where you can take easy rides to other towns in Cinque Terre. Amazing breakfast and friendly accommodating staff. Highly recommended for visiting Cinque Terre.
The apartment is larger and more beautiful than the pictures capture and the view of the harbor from the terrace is amazing! Marco was incredibly helpful and gracious host. We will definitely stay at La Casa when we return to Cinque Terre.
The location of this hotel is PERFECT!! Vernazza is a small village but very cozy. The hotel is right in front of the water. We have our bathroom outside but it was for our own use only, so that was good!
My wife and I have been traveling all over Italy and this was a perfect sport in Cinque Tere! We liked Vernazza the best! Good staff, comfortable room and we liked the shared kitchen facilities.
Fabulous location right in the heart of Vernazza. Beautiful view of the harbour. Lovely apartment with cooking facilities and washing machine. You even get to dry your clothes Italian style 🤩
The best place to stay in Vernazza ! Everything is perfect. The quality of a hotel with the simplicity of a Guest House. The hosts are also very nice and helpful.
