The hotel was in a beautiful tranquil location central to our main points of interest for our time in the Dolomites (1.25hr from Tre Cime di Lavaredo, 1hr from Seceda/Col Raiser, 1 hr from Lago di Braises/Prager Wildsee). The rooms were large with comfortable bedding. The entire property was spotless. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our stay included breakfast and dinner at an extremely affordable price. The meals were very good with fixed menus thay could be altered upon request. The spa was simple but had everything we needed including modern infrared saunas, steam rooms, traditional saunas, whirlpool, and a relaxation room. Overall, the stay was very enjoyable and affordable.

The restaurant opens between June and October, and between December and Easter. It serves local cuisine. The Cavallino is 5 mi from Corvara in Badia and less than an hour by car from Bressanone.
