Cristina Puppo is an environmental hiker, traveler and sports guide. She loves both the sea and the mountains. Wild nature, as unspoiled as possible, is the environment she prefers. She takes advantage of every opportunity to explore it slowly, in nearby places or around the world, practicing her favorite sports and activities ... hiking or skiing when there is snow, vertically climbing and mountaineering, at sea in kayaks or sailing boat, exploring it with snorkeling. Cristina is the soul of Cascina Fogona where she organizes experiences in nature, dedicated to sport and adventure both at sea and on land. Cristina has a degree in forestry and environmental sciences, chosen precisely because she has always wanted her office to be nature. At first, she dreamed of the beautiful forests of northern Europe. Then she took a job in Mali. She stayed in Africa for about 7 years managing environmental humanitarian projects for small NGOs. She currently lives between Italy and France. In Grenoble she had a Masters in Economic Strategies of Sport and Tourism. She has managed Cascina Fogona since its creation.

Cascina Fogona is a unique destination. A microworld dedicated to nature, oudoor sport, relaxation, yoga, sustainable agricultural production. It offers 4 cozy rooms furnished with an ethnic touch, the result of the travels and experiences of Cristina, the hostess, for a total of 12 beds. These are 2 quadruple and 2 double rooms, with twin or double beds. All bedrooms have private bathrooms. One has an external bathroom. A quadruple room has independent access and a bathroom without architectural barriers. All rooms are very large with the possibility of adding extra beds for children. Cascina Fogona is on the crest of a hill, overlooking the Alps on one side (Monviso) and the sea on the other and is a destination for those looking for a well-kept but rustic, original, historic environment because it is located in an ancient farmhouse, with large outdoor common areas, large breakfast room, reading room, large yoga and relaxation room. For lovers of trekking, cycling and sports there are many routes and some interesting and adventurous possibilities. Cascina Fogona is located on a ridge, where the Apennines and the Alps meet, on one side you can see the sea and on the other mount Monviso. It is a perfect area for relaxation, outdoor sports, food and wine and cultural trips. Its isolated position, which is accessed via a hill road, surrounded by nature, is ideal for those who want to rest, get away and dedicate themselves to a holiday immersed in nature. In 20 minutes, you can reach the beautiful beaches of Bergeggi, in 30 'you can taste the Barolo in its production area and in less than an hour by car you can reach the Maritime Alps to the west and Genoa on the opposite side. Cascina Fogona organizes excursions in the surroundings and towards the most beautiful areas of western Liguria. It is 7 minutes from the Altare exit (A6-Turin-Savona motorway) and can be reached by a paved road. There are large parking spaces. The Altare train is at 20 minutes on foot, as is the town where there are all the essential shops, various bars and the Glass Museum. Altare is connected to Savona with a bus service. The main airports are Genoa ('45), Turin (1h30), Nice (2h15).
