Armeno itself is a bit of a sleeper village.
Armeno itself is a bit of a sleeper village. As I come from a yoga retreat on the other side of the lake, it was a perfect stop for me to visit Lago D'orta. The accommodations were great... but there is not even a proper restaurant in the village. But good options are available with a short drive.Roy KwartenDenmark

The staff was excellent, and the room was very comfortable with a balcony and a mountain view. I enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant and the staff made me a breakfast "to go" because I had to leave early in the morning to catch my flight. I am so happy to have found this place and look forward to coming back another time.

It was a small room, but it was good for it's purpose. Actually I was glad there was no television or radio inside. Wifi was good. Bed was very hard. Breakfast en dinner were simple but very good and brought with a smile. Armeno is a good point for hikes in the surroundings. Everything you could wish for, from fresh fruit to great self made cakes, on top of what you have in most other hotels. Quality of everything was phenomenal. At least the rooms to the rear side are very calm; we cannot speak for those facing the street, but we assume there's only very little traffic at night.
