The location of Casa Favaretto could not be better. You are right on the main "avenue/water" and short walk to the Doge's Palace and St Mark's, 2 vaporetta stops nearby and Girabaldi Strada around the corner with many cafes and restaurants. Although this guest house has spotless shared bathrooms, there was never a wait or a long distance from the room. The Guest House was full, but I never encountered anyone. This is a such an incredible value for Venice!

It felt like I am a resident of Venice, I have my own keys for the building door and the flat door. The room size is good, not too small, I had a sink inside the room and a shared bathroom outdoors which was fine. View is very nice and they offered me cakes and drinks for each day of my stay.

Perfect location in my opinion, super close to the Arsenale stop rigjt on the water and near to Via Garibaldi with its wide avenue and good restaurants. Clean and simple, this is a pensione with shared bathrooms, marble floors and no frills. I had a view of the canal as well for a very good price

I liked that the property felt very secure. Also the room had its own sink. I liked that the shared bathroom was always clean and had the necessary equipment. The guest house is in a favorable location with multiple restaurants and gelato shops around it plus the water taxis/ferries. I was provided with a mini breakfast in the room which was nice! I loved that checking in and out was very simple and easy. The other people staying there were nice and respectful. I liked that I was provided with my own keys. Overall, I felt very comfortable as a solo traveler in this guest house.

Beautiful old Venetian house on the canal. Spotless inside with marble corridors. The room had a view onto the side canal and the front onto the grand canal. Lovely neighborhood, Castello, with great restaurants. Even had a band playing on Saturday night. Not as madly busy as closer to centre but still an easy walk to St Mark's Square. Lovely hosts.Communal bathrooms always available and also spotless.

The property is really great located, close to one of the ferrovia station or boats stations which is how people go around in Venice besides going by foot. Is close to restaurants and a walk of about 15mins from Piazza San Marco and others landmark sightseeing. The room I was given was clean and spacious. Alessandro, one of the host was really nice and helpful even with my luggage and recommendations to get around. Shared bathroom were clean and I never had to wait to use them ad there were 3 for the guests.

Old building facing water with some beautiful mosiac flooring. Room feels tilted as many buildings 'lean' in Pisa. Our room has 2 windows facing a canal - boats actually go by! Windows open to allow air in. 4 pillows provided. Checkin went smoothly and their systems are organized. Gelato right next door. Easy to walk to a variety of restaurants, stores and pharmacy. You get to hear the sound of moving water outside your window. Quiet at night inside the building. The idea of a shared refrigerator in the hallway - there are even labels for each room to know who the items belong to. There is a plug-in mosquito device to keep away mosquitoes when you have the window open, but we didn't know how it operated. The hallway has ceiling lights that match the age of the building. The shared bathroom/showers that we used were very clean.
