The staff was kind and fully supportive. Because of my delayed arrival they sent clear directions on how to access the room as the reception was closed after 11pm. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, Internet was working fine.

Although outside the historic area of Faenza, the property is very close and at a walking distance to the city centre. The hosts were kind and the room was large enough, Internet was fine and all the kitchen facilities were working.

International Ceramics Museum is a must see! Hard to find the Central square but very nice when we finally did. Parking is difficult in the town. Both restaurants at Villa Abbondazi are quite nice, especially the Michelin rated one.

Nice town to walk and dine in and things are all convenient to train station. Nice art museum. I only come to Faenza for business, but am happier here than in the larger cities and look forward to something more relaxing and less stressful than Venice, Florence, Rome, etc.

We discovered Faenza when planning our first trip to Greece...
We discovered Faenza when planning our first trip to Greece by car with our dog 6 years ago as it is only a 2 hour trip to Ancona ferry.
We have stayed in the center, on fruit farms on the outskirts and among olive groves and vineyards up in the hills behind Faenza We love it all.
The suite of rooms - private bathroom, kitchenette/ sitting area and bedroom - is part of a beautiful apartment in an old house in the centre of Faenza which is a lovely old town.
Simona, my hostess, has filled it with cats and a spectacular collection of art and ceramics, some of the latter made by herself. She herself is absolutely lovely - always wanting to help but never intrusive. It was great to meet and talk with her. Will definitely be back.
Pleasant sunny breakfast terrace. Nice evening meal on site, but please note they do not serve meals every day. Great selection of their own delicious wines to taste and buy. Lovely surroundings and space to take walks. It was too cool to take a swim but the pool looked great! Short drive to Faenza, Brisighella, Dozza, and other nice towns in the surrounding area. Good starting point for bike rides to explore the countryside.
Breakfast was typical 'continental' style with ample choice of drinks, cereals, breads, fruit, some cold meats, eggs, etc. The room was huge with a very modern shower room. The hotel is grand but tending towards "shabby chic". It has a good atmosphere and seems quieter than expected. Location is very central within easy walking distance of the railway station and easy access to the MIC museum, art galleries, cathedral, etc.
Just as pictured, the room is a very spacious ground floor room with attached bathroom. It is on a quiet side street close to the ceramics museum so despite being on the ground floor there is hardly any noise. The hosts were very sweet and welcoming and gave me good advice on where to eat. I tried two recommendations (Osteria La Baita for dinner and Nove100 for breakfast) and both were excellent. I would happily stay again.
Beautiful location. Lovely room with everything you
could need. Spotlessly clean and comfortable.
Stunning views from every window.
Host is so kind and helpful. We were made to
feel very welcome. The food he cooked for
supper was delicious - served outside on the
terrace with a nice bottle of wine. A perfect
evening. Breakfast was excellent too. Within easy
reach of Ravenna and Faenza - well worth a longer
stay!
A beautiful road under the trees leads to a pleasant place. Actually, it is more of a country hotel than an agritourism farm. Nice owners, good breakfasts, swimming pool, well-air-conditioned rooms - some with kitchen. A place open to unusual needs - I left a car with a trailer there for 2 weeks to ride motorbikes around beautiful Italy - there was no problem.
The staff was very accommodating when I asked for a room with a bath tub. The location is excellent, very close to restaurants and shopping. The hotel has a nice restaurant and the breakfast is good, nice selection and coffee is excellent. The hotel is very quiet and clean.
Kindness of staff (owner). Excellent service. Very good breakfast. Beautiful villa, completely restored.
Particularly interesting are the sketches on its walls by the New Zealand army which liberated Faenza from the Nazi's in 1944, as well as related provided documentation.
I rested with my wife in this hotel. Everything was very good. Spacious and clean rooms. Comfortable bed and mattress. Roberta from reception is very friendly. Thank you! We were satisfied. This hotel became one of our favorites on the next trip.
This place was perfectly situated for us to get the train into Bologna for the Fiera. We parked near the station at Castel Bolognese. We were able to have an early breakfast which was plentiful. It is also convenient for going into Faenza.
Although outside the historic area of Faenza, the property is very close and at a walking distance to the city centre. The hosts were kind and the room was large enough, Internet was fine and all the kitchen facilities were working.
Located on a hill with fanstatic views!
Honest local dinner with their own wine.
Perfect location for a trip to Bologna and Ravenna. Also don't forget to visit Faenza and the little medieval village Brisighella.
Friendly owners!
Great attention to detail, Simona is the best host i've stayed at. Thank you very much for your hospitality. The room, location and amenities are all perfect. When i go to Faenza, i will definitely stay here again.
The host was very kind and we were received warmly. The place was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Also, we were in the very center of Faenza, and close to the train station.
Great little apartment with a very short walk to the Faenza central Piazza. Bus service runs past the property for local bus service to the train station. Lots of local coffee shops.
This is a newly renovated old villa mid-way between Faenza and Forli and good for both, Francesca was a great host and the breakfast was especially good.
