If you already checked the location, you might already know...
If you already checked the location, you might already know that:
- The views from La Scala Fenicia are amazing. The final stop,Villa San Michele, is not the only and most interesting spot.
- Mount Solaro is a must
a. the chairlift is the easiest option
b. or just go for a nice hike as it's not challenging. On you way down to Anacapri take in the beautiful scenery from Santa Maria a Cetrella and appreciate the stunning Faraglioni cliffs.
- You can get to Capri via La Scala Fenicia and then taking one of the pedestrian streets - it's a beautiful 35 minute walk, but this is not for everybody. If you don't want to wait for half an hour for the bus, you can go for this option.
- Faro di Punta Carena
Take the bus and go for a dive. There is a nice beach, and I would rather spend my time there swimming/diving, instead of waiting for 2 hours in the line for Blue grotto. The emerald crystal water is full of fish playing around the rocks :)
Last, but not leas. Capri is pretty, but it looks a bit like an outdoor mall. Anacapri on the other hand is way more interesting and has a authentic vibe and most of the stunning views and trails are right here.

Be ready to walk and explore, we were there too short a time to enjoy the beaches. The place is beautiful and very nice at the end of the day when all the people who come for the day have left. Very friendly place.

Unfortunately we fell into the trap of only staying one night after seeing all the day trip options Capri had. After our host Giuliano from B&B Paridiso (highly recommend) told us about everything there was to do on the island we were gutted we didn’t stay longer. There is the blue grotto, chair lifts to amazing views, anacapri’s town centre, wonderful restaurants and beaches to visit.

Lovely town with cute shops and streets to walk around.
Lovely town with cute shops and streets to walk around. However, it’s very touristy and the food isn’t great on this part of the island. It gets incredibly busy so I would not recommend visiting the island during peak season (mid June to September). 1 night should be enough and you could even make it a day trip in my personal opinion.
The hotel is in convenient location, not far away from the bus station. It has great facilities, the rooms are large, with very nice decor. The terrace is covered in lush flowers overgrowing pergola. You can also really rest by the pool which is on another terrace. The staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel is based in Anacapri, which is located higher on the island than Capri. You can see the sea from the distance and it feels like you are floating in the sky. Highly recommended!
The best view in Capri - simply breathtaking! We stayed in suite room 202 (corner room) with view of the whole island. Hotel shuttle collected us from the Grand Marina and dropped us back at the end of the stay. Great breakfast with many pastries and jams to chose from. It’s worth noting the hotel is in Anacapri up on the hill, which is a charming small town. Capri main town is easily accessible by bus, taxi or indeed we did one trip down by foot which was also very enjoyable.
This very suite boutique hotel tucked away on a private street in Anacapri was the perfect escape from the craziness of Capri in the summer. The hotel was convenient to get to by taxi and a quick 8 minute walk to the bus and restaurants in Anacapri. We have to shout out the staff and Nicholas (hope our spelling is correct!) who was the best bartender we had on our whole trip! Don't sleep on his Bulldog Gin and Tonic. The super friendly staff really really stood out to us.
Our best experience throughout a trip to southern Italy was Anacapri and our staying at Caprita Guest House. The hotel is wonderful like the all Capri island. The room we had was beautiful, spacious, well equipped, and the hotel is very well located. The breakfast is unbeatable and the best thing was the support and kindness of Rita who is a fantastic host. 100% recommended and thanks for the best memories of our trip to Italy.
My wife and I went to AnaCapri to celebrate our 25th anniversary. This was one of our most memorable experience in all of south Italy. The view from our room and restaurant is amazing. The service was impeccable
and the food was delicious.
They went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. We could not have chosen better location than
“Da Gelsomina”.
It is a MUST visit restaurant of Capri / AnaCapri.
Claudio and Susana were wonderful hosts. They have a beautiful B & B. Our room whilst small was spotless and comfortable with lovely bathroom and air con.
We had breakfast on the terrace each morning (again lovely) and could relax and read a book in the evening there also.
Situated within a very easy walk to Anacapri (ten mins) and really near bus stop which took you anywhere on the island.
The views from this place are stunning, especially at sunset. We had breakfast and dinner here both days, and throughout our trip to Italy, this is the best food we ate. The place is a 10 minute walk from shops, the chair lift, and the taxi station. The owner and his
wife made sure to answer all of our questions and e were great hosts. We want to come back right away!
The hotel is based in Anacapri on Capri Island, which is quieter than Capri "town". On the island you need a car or taxi to go from one point to another and Laura was very helpful, suggesting activities, buying tickets for us, booking restaurants, taxis etc... The view from the room is amazing. You can enjoy all what Capri has to offer. I highly recommend this place!
Massimo and Bruna took incredible care of us, they were attentive to us all the time, they helped us find the best plans to tour the island, they even helped us plan a boat tour. They are extremely helpful and kind, I felt at home. The house is wonderful, very close to the center of Anacapri, the views from the room are amazing and the place is just peaceful and calm.
Amazing property! The host was so nice and the rooms were very comfortable. He gave us recommendations of the island as well as information regarding the ferries. We enjoyed our balcony and especially the included breakfast. He makes great cappuccinos! The location is perfect, right beside an old church and less than a minute walk from the main road in Anacapri!
Amazing stay in a magical location, so close to the main square in Anacapri. Couldn’t ask for more, the interior decor is lovely with a modern twist. very clean and welcoming. Elia is the perfect hostess, nothing is too much trouble and she gives lots of information on the local area and transport, it’s so very easy when on the island. Perfect stay!!
Super cute hotel in Anacapri. All the team were very welcoming and helpful. The grounds and rooms are perfectly kept. The room was large and clean. Location is great, you can walk into the centre of town in 15mins but you are far away for peace and quiet. There are bus stops to all the key sights round the island within 3 mins walk too.
Location was steps from Anacapri restaurants and the Monte Solara chair lift. Short walk to the bus stops to Capri, Blue Grotto and Marina Grande.
The staff was very helpful with taxi arrangements, answering questions about buses, and they gave us some very good restaurant recommendations.
This is one of the best hotels on Capri-AnaCapri island, fantastic view, nice pool, unforgettable surroundings ,highly
recommended restaurant. There is no coffee machine at the room.Breakfast is in italian style, perfect, but a bit poor.
Dreaming to come back.
Beautiful property. Wonderful quiet location with easy access to anacapri and the rest of the island. Hospitality was wonderful. Valentina and Salvatore were so lovely, so helpful, and always available for questions or assistance. The pool is lovely as well.
It was a great stay. Everyone was very accommodating, the most helpful host in all of Italy!
The room was spacious and clean and in a great location. We could walk to pretty much anywhere we wanted to go in Anacapri.
Breakfast was good
Beautiful & comfortable hotel in the heart of anacapri, peaceful place on the island of Capri. Best place to relax, have a good breakfast & comfy room. Elisabetta was very helpful and showed us all the spots in Capri to see. Thanks!
clean colourful and comfortable room, in a lovely villa style house and gardens. very central, near bus stop in Anacapri and very easy to explore the island, Breakfast was Buffett style with lots of choices. very friendly staff.
Situated in Anacapri, the property offers you the silent that you need to feel the vibe of the island. Teresa is the kindest guest that i ever meet. For me she was making the best breakfast:) and the best fresh orange juice.
