Went in mid march and apartment was a very good price. It's not far from meta train station, the shops or the sea. You can also see the sea from the balcony.
Apartment is on the top floor of a historical building and has two separate bedrooms, a dining room, a kitchen and a bathroom. There's also free WiFi, shower gel and a washing machine.
We spoke to Maria and Valeria in online communications who were very quick at replying and gave us all the information we needed.
Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

I love the location in front of the beach ( shoreline).
The town is also very nice, I hope we can explore more next time we stay at the same place.
Very easy to get the bus; 1 block away from this stay. Bus to Sorrento for only Eur 2 one way.

2 great restaurants in a walking distance. (Although the walk is a little challenging) We also took a train to Sorrento, which was very easy.

Perfect place if you like to get a more 'local' vibe rather than visiting the tourist areas. Super close to Sorrento by car and the surrounding towns were close too - no longer than 40 mins drive. The beach was 5 min walk, along with restaurants, bars and cafes which was great. It is a good location to go to several places, but most of them not walking distance (unless you are living more central in Meta). You should be an experienced driver to be able to drive in Napoles area, including Meta and Meta neighbourhoods. Meta is an amazing price to just have rest after a long day visiting the amalfi coast and sorrento, located 10 min away from sorrento by train. Cool area calm and provides what you are looking for in a great price without exaggeration.

Meta was a cheaper alternative to staying in Sorrento but there is so much more to see and do in Sorrento. The train is ok, only 3 stops, but it can be over crowded. If you like a lively atmosphere with plenty to see and do within walking distance stay in Sorrento. If you want the quiet life stay in Meta. There is a fabulous bakery at the crossroad when heading down to the beach.

This place is quite isolated & accessed by very narrow roads. Apart from a few nearby restaurants there is not much to do near the Hotel. I would recommend this Hotel for short stays of a maximum of 3-4 days with lots of organised tour activities to nearby attractions. Touring the area using a car is not a good option given the really narrow roads, which have many hazzards.

The room was clean and pretty and it was connected to a nice garden. Moreover, we chose Meta because we couldn’t afford Sorrento and at the end we were very happy with the choice, not crowded as the other coastal villages and as beautiful, and with good and not pricey food as the others. We felt so welcome at Villa Elisa. The room was lovely and had everything you needed. The hotel is in a great location, literally around the corner from Meta train station. Only a ten minute journey to the beach. The host made a lovely continental breakfast and was very flexible about time. She kept in contact through WhatsApp and this made things so much easier!
