Our host reserved a delicious local dinner spot for us just a walk down the path from his place. We were arriving later than we had planned but Ooma ( I apologize for the incorrect spelling of your name) met us just outside the walled city with a perfect parking spot. Then he helped me carry my extra bag up to his home. The apartment was beautifully spotless and I loved the orange color of our room and the beautiful shared bathroom. His home is a short walk from the only, most delicious capuccino ever in Italy. We were surprised to find what we came here for: a ceramic artist to provide ware for our store in California. All was here in this heart of Deruta: including of course: the Church.

This is a beautifully restored old house in the historic center of Deruta. Historic Deruta is small, quiet and known for its beautiful ceramics. The hosts were so nice, welcoming us personally and coming back to the property to say goodbye when we left. Although we arrived later than expected, they assured us it was no problem. This is definitely one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed and also a great value for the money.

We loved the location! This community is a photo op in any direction. The neighbors welcomed us like family. The apartment itself was far more than what we anticipated. Everything appeared to be new. It was very comfortable and spacious. We wish we could have stayed a week.

Wonderful, family-run hotel & restaurant. In a quiet, country-like location yet only minutes from the A45. The included breakfast was a much or as little as you wanted, all good. The Dinners were superb and quite reasonably priced. Samuele, the manager and maitre d’, is a gem. He treated us like regular, return guests from the moment we walked in the door.
Artistic with many modern decorations mate by the owner, including a huge traditional Deruta style waze outdoors made by the owners grandfather. In the old town of Deruta, just next door from Umberto's ceramics workshop where you can have fun playing with clay and buy some quality products directly from owner at prices lower than in the shops.
Staff were extremely friendly going over and above in all circumstances. Hotel was spotless, and tranquil. Buffet breakfast had a wide choice of food, including pastries, cereal, fruit and hot eggs snd bacon and fresh rolls.
The restaurant food was amazing.
We would highly recommend this family run friendly hotel a would certainly go back
Lovely pool and garden area had drinks in a cozy lounge area with a lovely view to the old Castello antico forziere. The room was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Onno our host was very kind and hospitable, and took time out of his day to make sure we had a lovely experience in Deruta. We truly enjoyed being in the old town where we got to enjoy the local artisans and nice food.
Family owned hotel and they were wonderful!! Perfect, charming little hotel tucked away in the countryside with lovely gardens, terraces and pool. Food was creative and delicious. We highly recommend!
This very characteristic house is close to the city of Deruta, but it still has quiet surroundings and a relaxing atmosphere. My room was nicely heated by the time I returned in the evening.
