The staff was very nice and friendly. The location was good, near the old town, restaurants, and the ferry terminal and it was an excellent base for travel from Rome, to the south, and to Pompeii, Caserta, and the Amalfi Coast. The breakfast was good.

The hotel exceeded my expectation: located literally right by the train station, minutes of walk to the ferry to the Amalfi Coast, rooms are very spacious, well maintained and spotless clean (can walk barefoot on the floor type of clean!), free breakfast is decent and very friendly staff (big thanks to Filomina who gave me the most beautifully displayed platter when I asked for a kettle to make tea, and Marika who made extra ham when I was almost late for breakfast). The only minor downside is that it doesn't have a lift so if you have luggage, better ask for a ground floor room although even female staff will offer to help you (thanks again Filomina).
