The view is gorgeous!! Right on the lake with all kinds of swans, geese and ducks! Large room with beautiful decor! Driving to it was odd through a residential area but such a fantastic destination! Comfortable beds and great food! Very friendly staff!

A quaint pub was on the property and although they did not have a kitchen to provide dinner there were local options nearby and, they did offer and traditional Icelandic breakfast in the morning as well as offer a delicious lamb soup that we had for lunch while staying there. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. I highly recommend staying here if you're going to be in the area.DanaUnited States of America

As it is on the outskirts of the Reykjavik time is saved by not having to bother with city traffic on leaving to excursions and coming back. It's also convenient that fast food and two supermarkets are next to hotel. We were able to arrange late night check-in and baby cot with short phone call to hotel couple of hours beforehand.

Our room looked out onto snow covered mountains; It was absolutely beautiful! The room was large and comfortable. Everyone was so nice. Onsite parking. Our room had a balcony and we were able to see the aurora from it! Very quiet and relaxing

This hotel has a window on the ceiling that allows you to see the outside, and on the first day I arrived in Iceland, I witnessed the Aurora and took a video. I highly recommend it.
