A very classy nice restaurant.
A very classy nice restaurant. A warm welcoming, followed by an excellent service, with a lot of attention to details on order to please you.
I took at first a tartare, the beef was excellent. With that I took a glass of the local red wine. Somewhat surprising, it does not taste like anything I have already drunk, but I kinda liked it.
Then I took a marbled steak with homemade French fries and homemade ketchup (!). No word to say that it was awesome.
The service always with a smile and very patient with us.

My recent visit to Cochin, Kerala was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beauty and charm of this historic city.
Exploring the streets of Fort Kochi was like stepping back in time, with its colonial architecture, bustling markets, and vibrant culture. The Chinese fishing nets along the waterfront were a sight to behold, especially during sunset when the sky was painted in hues of orange and pink.
One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace. The intricate artwork and historical artifacts inside were truly impressive, offering a glimpse into Kerala's rich heritage.
I also had the pleasure of indulging in some of the most delicious seafood dishes I've ever tasted. Whether it was fresh fish curry at a local eatery or a traditional Kerala thali at a family-run restaurant, each meal was a culinary delight.
The warmth and hospitality of the people of Cochin further enhanced my experience. From the friendly smiles of shopkeepers to the helpful advice of locals, I felt welcomed and at home throughout my stay.
Overall, my time in Cochin, Kerala was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the beauty, culture, and flavors of southern India.

It is a great city - roads are narrow and congested - if you overlook that it is a good place to explore and the water metro is a must - unique to this city . Can get hot during the day during summers.
Staying in Fort Cochin was a delightful experience. The charm of the historic surroundings combined with the modern amenities provided a perfect balance. The room was clean, well-maintained, and the breakfast tasty. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. The central location allowed easy exploration of the city’s heritage sites and vibrant markets. I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone seeking a memorable and authentic stay in the heart of Cochin’s old center.
Excellent value for money in the heart of Fort Cochin. We were warmly welcomed. The hotel arranged our airport taxi and provided an adapter so we could recover from the flight. The heritage room was clean and comfortable. We explored the local area near the Chinese Fishing nets and places of interest. We enjoyed the breakfast and both evening meals at the Warehouse restaurant attached to the hotel. We were able to pay for the meals at the end of our stay which was most convenient.
I loved everything about this hotel, excellent location in Cochin, next door to the lovely Lulu Mall, hotel provided free buggy services to and from lulu mall. Hats off to the amazing chef Suresh Ganesh, we had told him about a pastry native to our home South Africa, the next morning it was prepared and brought to us at breakfast. Such wonderful service and kindnes! The hotel staff were always willing to go the extra mile. Highly recommend this wonderful hotel.
Stay was an absolute delight. The hotel's serene ambiance and stylish interior made for a truly relaxing experience. What stood out the most was the welcoming and attentive staff, who went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Unlike other crowded hotels, I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere at Ibis, which allowed for a truly serene retreat. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a tranquil and enjoyable stay in Cochin.
My wife and I thank all the staff at the hotel for the good hospitality and respectful manner, whether from the reception staff, room service, restaurant or guards. The reception staff were all very professional. Special thanks to the room service assistant Mr. Faisal and the entire restaurant staff, including Mr. Milan, Abishek, our best wishes for the hotel And to everyone with more prosperity, progress and success , wonderful best regards
The kind owner deserves 10 points only for himself. This place is very clean, for the first time I found toilet paper in the bathroom. There is excellent WiFi connection. The hotel is up to a hill not so far from Anachal. Munnar distance is around 23km but the village is well connected, you can easily take a bus to go if you have a small budget. Really happy to be here, so far the best welcoming in India!!!
Great hotel right in the middle of Fort Cochi. We stayed here on 2 separate nights during our trip to India and stayed in two different rooms - both were spacious, clean and comfortable. All the staff very were very welcoming and helpful, and kindly helped us with transfer and car bookings. We had an early check out one morning and they kindly made us breakfast even though it was early.
This is the best Hotel we have stayed in India so far from our multiple trips to india. The staff in here is so friendly and well mannered. The rooms are so clean and tidy. Everyday they clean the room. Food in this place is heavenly. We really love the food we had during our stay. Big thanks to the chefs for making our stay so comfortable with the delicious food.
It was a wonderful stay and thanks for the good hospitality. Supported by the travel desk and got the taxi services for Cochin and Munnar tour with cheap rate. All the facilities were good sure we will come back and recommend to our friends. Very happy for the services.
Thank you for making my stay happy and safe
Retrive Health and Wellness is a hidden Gem. Luxurious hotel at a reasonable price. Very clean rooms. The ambience and decor is of a 5 star hotel. George the Manager goes out of his way to help you out. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The Spa is great. Great food too. Will surely visit again.
I never thought I could find such good stay. It was very clean and comfortable to stay with awesome ambience and facilities. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Overall me and my family loved the stay and Elzas fortinn will be in our top priority list to stay whenever we visit Cochin.
Nice modern facilities. Bedrooms were well appointed and comfortable. I wish we were staying a bit longer than the one night. The hotel is within sight of Cochin airport and the shuttle to the airport made it very easy to get there for our flight the following morning.
- Very friendly and helpful staff
- Nice spacious pool area
- Excellent value for money (even considering that the hotel would rather have 4 stars according to international standards and not the official 5 stars)
- Big room
This was by far the best stay in India during my 2 months travelling. The place is clean and very quiet, hotel manager is super helpful and polite, location is in the center. Hopefully can visit this place soon again.
