Very clean, professionally run, tasteful haveli style newer hotel. The hotel is located a short, easy to navigate distance away from the entrance to the historic fort, shops, restaurants. We really liked being outside the fort where things were a little calmer (unless there happens to be a wedding party across the street!) The staff were super sweet, warm and very attentive. The restaurant food and service was excellent. We took advantage of the “non touristic safari”. It was a beautiful, no frills relaxing break from the frenetic pace of city life, riding camels in silence an hour into the desert, eating simple food prepared over a fire, sleeping on comfortable metal cots with heavy blankets looking up to the open sky. They also arranged a terrific driver, Dilip Singh, for us to go to Bikaner, Mandawa, Nawalgarh and Jaipur for us. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

The location was excellent, you share the facility with the royal family (although you do not see them); the room was clean; the food was good; the staff were excellent; and the atmosphere was royal. The rooftop restaurant for dinner was beautiful.

One of the best stays of my life, and I have traveled over 60 countries! The excellent location of the hotel, great room, great restaurant, roof-top terrace with great views to relax, clean, OK wi-fi etc.
But the highlight of my stay was a superbly friendly staff! Manager Surya and his colleagues were simply awesome and so nice company for a lone traveler like me, a lot of interesting and also funny discussions... I dare to say we became friends. They took me with them to two Indian wedding celebrations, by jeep and a motorbike, helped me to choose a nice Indian dress... an experience, I will never forget and no tourist agency can provide. Non-tourist safari with camels and sleeping under the stars (with many friendly dogs around) was also an unforgettable experience.
If you haven't planned to visit Jaisalmer (which I also adored since it is so unspoiled and friendly traditional Rajasthani town), you should visit it for the Pol Haveli Hotel and its friendly people alone... I extended my stay for 3 nights.
I will miss you, my friends from Pol Haveli, and a friendly camel guide!

Fantastic location inside the fort. Our room had a window that opened over city views and from which we watched the sun rise. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. A good breakfast was included and dinner could be had at the hotel next door so really convenient :)

A nice and relaxing traditional semi-desert town with the friendliest people (and cows) you can meet. You can just wander around and enjoy. Nobody would harass you, just friendly people greeting you, young and old, and friendly cows, of course.
You can visit the town's attractions or simply sit and enjoy observing the vibrant local life.

The Jaisalmer fort is located on top of a rock.
The Jaisalmer fort is located on top of a rock. Inside the fort there is old town. There are private houses inside the fort. Walking around the small small lanes is very interesting. But be very careful about the local people. They will try to cheat you somehow or the other. Even if you take a guide, the guide will make you pay double the money because they get commission whatever you spend during your visit.
I have seen people sitting next to me in a terrace, paying INR 500 for two coffees and I paid the same coffees INR 140. Because their guide told the waiter to take INR 500 from them. It was so sad… people of Rajastan specially guides and drivers and shop owners are looting foreigners.

Jaisalmer was definitely more touristy, then the other cities we had visited before. In a way, this made our short stay there more comfortable. People on the street were friendly and greeted us, without trying to sell us anything.

A very good combination of History, Culture, Gastronomic delights and contemporary sightseeing. I recommend the Jaisalmer Fort Or the Golden Fort (has historical artefacts), the War Museum, Gadisar Lake and the surroundings, Folklore Museum and Desert Cultural Centre (set up Shri Nand Kishore Sharma, 94 years old, in1983. The Desert Cultural Centre also hosts a puppet show (two showings a day) in the evening.

The hotel was the perfect choice for my trip to Jaisalmer. The hotel was conveniently located near the main attractions and had a beautiful view. The room was cozy and well-equipped. The staff was attentive and responsive.
The driver Mr. Dharma Ram, who drove me to the Tanot, Indo Pak border, Longewala and Sam dunes was very kind person and knowledgeable. He showed me some interesting sights along the way and made me feel welcome. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and book their driver service.
The hotel room were really nice and very typical. We asked for a taxi transfer from Jodhpur Airport to Jaisalmer and the owner picked us up. He was super friendly and very helpful to help us organise our 2 days and also our trip with the same company to the desert. This was also awesome experience, without any tourist incl camel ride and overnight under the staff. Lastly we had the opportunity to test the restaurant and it was also super nice
It is also very well located to walk around the city
I stayed at this palace and really base on my experience
and based on hotel reviews it is ultimate hotel staff
and service being not star hotel they work and provide
service like 5 star service the hotel owners and the staff
are very helpful, they have accommodate me with all the
my requests while my stay they make sure that we will
get everything comfortable stay. I highly recommend to
the people that if you visit jaisalmer please stay at Fotya
hotel in minimum budget
That is my first life experience to stay in the hotel inside the giant historical fort. It owns perfect location in Jaisalmer.
Watching sunset view, chatting under the starry night sky, and listening to Rajastani folk songs entertained by guest local musician (he is highly talented) at Ba's rooftop cafe are heartwarming bonuses.
At rooftop cafe, they serve Western, Indian, Chinese and traditional Rajastani cuisines, all are delicious 😋.
Ambience, food and hospitality were at the highest at the Wild Heritage Desert camp. Even the simplest of food item prepared by the chef tasted so well. The manager - Adeshji has better hospitality knowledge than any 5 star hotel. Clean rooms and clean toilets are a luxury in the middle of the desert and Wild Heritage desert camp just gave that. The personal high tea set up in the desert with music exceeded our expectations.
We stayed Royal heritage Jaisalmer in Super Delux room. It was a great specious room with all the amentieis. Couple of things which stand out for us is that the staff is really friendly. They made us feel homely. If you have any special request or requirements they will try to fulfil that. Also, they have Rooftop restaurant, the food was really tasty and it was freshly cooked.
I definitely recommend staying at this hotel.
Cafe the Kaku has beautiful views over the whole city and loads of great, tasty and reasonably priced food options to choose from. The hotel staff were brilliant help in helping find tours and guides, anything you need, just ask! Not a bad word to say about this place, the rooms are huge and have all the amenities you could ever need and Jaisalmer is a fantastic place to be! 10/10 - will be back, thanks guys!
The location of hotel is awesome, with nice view of Jaisalmer fort from roof top restaurant,,,
The Manager of the hotel Mr Suraj always ready to serve you better,,,,he guide us about local city tour, local market , & out city points,,,,,,,,,
The owner of the property also aa great person
Overall nice stay &,food was good ,,,nice property
Thanks to Mr Suraj make our stay superb,,,
Loved staying at this place. Staff were so friendly and in service they couldn't do enough. Head chef kept asking for feedback and offered take away lunch for our onwards journey that was a pleasing surprise.
All the wait staff, restaurant manager were really friendly and welcoming. I will recommend this hotel over some of 4 star Camp in Sam Jaisalmer . Service was impeccable.
Hotel Mirage is one of the best and affordable places to stay in Jaisalmer. Ba and staff were too nice. They have an open terrace where you can watch the fort and the whole city. I was planning to stay there for two days, but I extended it for another two days. Also they have affordable and private desert safari packages. Excellent place..!
Very warm, clean and cozy room. Its Terrace restaurant with the fort view was very very nice and served us some delicious meals. The fridge had some complementary beverages which was so thoughtful of,since even the 3 star hotel at Udaipur did not bother to provide. And the most happiest moment for me was the hair dryer in the bathroom.
Excellent hotel in the city side of Jaisalmer. Owner and staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious and clean. With a large, comfy bed with duvet and cold A/C. Bathroom clean, with good water pressure. They organised a Safari Tour which was great. Highly recommend this property if visiting Jaisalmer.
Such a beautiful hotel. Jaisalmer itself is so charming and filled with wonderful people, sights and history and this hotel fits in perfectly. The room are immaculate as are the lobby. The pool area is something to behold. We loved the overall ambience of the palace, all of the staff were hospitable. We will definitely be back.
We had best experience with hotel saffron … Staff was courteous and helpful specially The caretaker Vimal who tried his best to meet our customised demands .. All other facilities were up to the mark … you will not get such good deal anywhere else .. highly recommend this property for your pleasant stay in Jaisalmer
Very bad hotel facility and it's owner very bad and egoistic person. Owner ko sirf rupees matlab he yaha bath Tub bhi room me nahi hota. Cleaning 10% hoga Sirf name bada Darsan chhota he. I will not suggest any one go to hotel Jaisalmer Boutique. Online booking k bad bhi fees jyada liaya.
People are such a gold! Hotel is new and rooms are fresh and decorated with love! It’s true that Jaisalmer is the most hospitable place in India! And this hotel is the center of it! Enjoyed staying here and would love to come again! Thanks for everything!❤️
Nicely decorated hotel with very warm and hospitable team. The terrace was cozy with superb view of Fort and decor of the place was very stylish. Hotel also offers camel safari tours. Recommended to all visitors visiting Jaisalmer.
Best Hotel For Stay In Jaisalmer . Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. They also arrange desert safari camping was so good . Owner was also very kind and helpful.
We have taken our breakfast out side the hotel and location is very good just behind the Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Kella). Hotel staff was co-operative and friendly.
