The hotel is a bit out of the town centre, but perfectly fine for car drivers - once you get used to the multi level one way system! Buncrana is well placed for touring North Donegal County and visiting Derry/Londonderry City nearby in N. Ireland, to where there are no travel or border restrictions. Thought the local ferries were a bit expensive for cars. The local attraction "Wild Ireland" situated near Burnfoot was well worth a visit. And a visit to Ireland's most northerly point, Malin Head, is a "must do" too. Be advised that the famous Slieve League Cliffs are over 100km from Buncrana.

Family break: 2 adults & 2 children. Loads to do, loads of activities and loads to see. The kids preferred Donegal to our week in Spain earlier this yr. The area is beautiful with lovely beaches nearby and loads of things to visit. We will definitely be back soon.

The house was ideal for a large family group. There were plenty of baths and showers in the house. The house has a great view. Apart form a few very minor things we were very satisfied. Great place especially at the weekend you seriously must stay in the town clock a you really will be surprised a great friendly bunch of people who cook the most fantastic Italian food in the bistro down stairs from where you stay darius is a true gentleman who will give you a great friendly welcome then head over to o Flaherty bar for a night of Craic and Guinness then drop into o scallions for a quick game of pool and a cocktail then next morning when your leaving town clock take a right turn to Lilly rose cafe bakery for a fantastic fry but bring your hungry with you because that is one mega fry they serve

A visit to Dunree Fort is worth a visit.

A visit to Dunree Fort is worth a visit. We didn't visit the museum but did some of the walks which were spectacular. We also ate in the little cafe on site which was very good indeed. Coffee in particular! Buncrana town is lovely, plenty of shops, bars and cafes. Its a one way drive system. We ate at Tank and Skinnys - just coffee and cake, but the food going to other tables looked delicious - we'll definitely be back.

The house was in a great location and was literally just 5 minutes away from the centre were there was plenty of bars and restaurants. Then just another 5 minute walk took you too Buncrana Beach which was stunning. Cosy McCarrons was clean and very comfortable. There was plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 kids. It was nice and modern and the host thought of everything leaving us a beautiful welcome basket and all other essentials. Brillant place for a trip away 😊

The house was just amazing. It has recently been renovated to a very high standard. It’s bright & modern. It is spotless with all you could need, nothing has been spared. A lovely surprise to arrive to treats & essentials. Host was very helpful & informative, met us on arrival & insisted if any queries to call. It’s probably one of the best houses we have stayed in & we cannot wait to be back.

We are a family of 7 and were in Bucrana at the end of June to explore the surrounding delights and stayed in the 5 star WAW Seaview apt. The apartment is brilliant and has everything you need to make your stay wonderful. It is very clean and the facilities are topnotch. Clodagh who is the host is brilliant and gave us wonderful tips on how to explore the sites around Bucrana. We'll be back.

Clean, well appointed apartment comfortably shared by family of 5. Attentive host and hostess available throughout and quite helpful. Washing facilities and updated kitchen a plus. Hot food/Irish breakfast and eat in dining at nearby circle K also an option. Central location on bus route, within walking distance of Main Street, grocery stores and beach.

Warm welcome from Jason and his lovely black Labrador Peppa. Very comfy bed. Lovely view of the sea fromthe bedroom. Quiet location, and very convenient to Buncrana town, Beaches and facilities.and the heating being turned on for a short period in the evening was a nice touch, even though it was a nice evening in general.
