I am Ketut (my friends call me Gin) and this is my wife Ayu. I am originally from a remote village in Tabanan while my wife was born in Bangli. I have over 25 years of experience in hospitality and met my wife while working in Kuta. We are both certified Yoga instructors however Ayu is also a healer and Qigong practitioner.

In 2012, we paid a visit to this little countryside village called Sidemen, which back then was rather unknown, and we instantly fell in love with it. The beauty of the surroundings, the lush and green rice terraces, and the friendly locals - we felt that the village has so much charm. We decided to build a small villa in Sidemen to let others experience the beauty of the village and along the way, we are delighted to have been able to contribute to the local community. And now, Sidemen has developed to be a very well-known destination, with some considering it as a must see while holidaying in Bali - especially for those who are wanting to experience what the authentic Bali & Balinese hospitality feels like. Our 3-hour Guided Trekking is hugely popular as it will guide you through the village's beautiful surroundings as well as to witness the locals' daily activities. Cepik Villa Sidemen is centrally located between some of the most popular places to see in Central and Eastern Bali. The Mother Temple of Besakih is approximately 40 minutes away by driving, while the famous Lempuyang Temple and Tirta Gangga Water Palace are approximately 1 hour away. If you are feeling adventurous, then Mount Agung and Mount Batur are both around 1,5 hours away by driving.
