The balcony was amazing. A beautiful view of the bay and the ferry we came in on! It was so nice and walkable too. Our room was large, and very clean.
Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Valamar Padova Hotel is located directly on the sea in the bay of Prva Padova, a 20-minutes walk from the Old Town of Rab, or a 5-minutes boat ride.

The location is good, across the water from the old Rab town, which is very nice. And very quiet in October.
The special coffee and fresh orange juice card was nice, so you can get one of each per breakfast.
After that one good coffee (from a proper espresso machine) you have to drink the filter stuff.
"Tamaris" is a new hotel, opened in 2005, located right beside the sea, in St. Euphemius Bay, about a 2 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes walk from the old town.

Rob was a small historic town with loads of trekking trails around it, the scenery around the island was great, weather was really good although in April water is cold to swim. Off season many restaurants and cafes are still closed but we found some nice places to eat.

Rab as an island is great to explore but you do need a car and must be able / willing to walk (10 - 30 min) to the most beautiful beaches (or get there by boat).
The old town of Rab is absolutely charming. I don't say this often, but the the town's beach is great and has a really fun bar/bistro (Banova Villa).
Recommend:
- Podšilo bay beach (15 min walk)
- Gonar (bay and restaurant of the same name - great food and spectacular sunset)
- tapas bar Kampanel in old town Rab
Don't bother:
- Sahara beach (Podšilo is way nicer)

A small, but not too small island with great historical old town. The island has excellent sandy beaches, which are perfect for families with small children, but not only that, we also loved staying there.
The local people are really friendly in Rab, if yo can speak English or German languages, you can communicate almost everywhere.
The prices are reasonable, not too cheap but you can also find more affordable places a little further from the city center.

At Plodine supermarket, the cashier tried to add someone elses shopping(a women standing aside, playing dumb) to my wifes bill (she was with 3 children- possibly an easy target). Check your bill before leaving!!

Lovely & charming town!
Lovely & charming town! Not very crowded, so that we could take a rest and chill out. Beautiful old city and friendly people. We came to the island by car, through the ferry and then, in the zone, we moved by walk mostly (to the old town and restaurants) and by car to Kandarola Beach and Stolac Beach. I can recommend Celestina's pub and a restaurant just next to it. And a bakery Zito. In general the whole zone is great and very, very clean! Fantastic place!
Apartman is really big with enough space and room to be utilized (nice big kitchen with living room)
Kitchen was very well equipped and comfy to use (we were here with (1y and 3y kids and had all what we needed)
Location is great. Very calm and sourrounded by nature. Availability to Rab, supermarket, beaches around very close by car. It was a great base camp for trips around the island.
Hosts were super friendly and helpfull. Would definitelly recomend to stay.
We absolutely loved everything, from apartment location, the cleanliness, the equipment and wonderful view. The owners are very kind and nice, ready to help if needed. The apartment has its own private parking, situated in very quiet and piecefull area, with lots of birds, and of course priceless wonderful panoramic view from the terrace. Rab is beautiful in the off-season when it's not so hot and there aren't many tourists and too many crowds.
A bit difficult to find the place (GPS dropped dead as we arrived to the island), the whole small-town is numbered as one big Banjol street. Other people helped with the directions, use the exact GP coordinate.
Slavica is a very kind and helpful owner, a typical lovely Croatian guest-setter (only good impressions in this genre anyway), and the higher balcony has a beautiful view to the see.
Spacious appartment, very clean and well equipped, the side balcony is just perfect for morning coffee / evening drink with a view of the sea. The landlady Marina spoiled us with homemade pancakes and homegrown tomatoes. A nice beach is literally a minute away on foot which is perfect for an early morning or evening swim but we recommend exploring Rab island further as it is beautiful.
Amazing view (old town and harbor) from the spacious balcony (apartment has two of them). The neighborhood is quite. Kitchen is simple, but you will find everything. Dining part and living room is huge. Beds are really comfortable. The whole apartment is clean. The host was really kind and helpful. She does not have a perfect English (neither I have), but we could have great chitchat.
Value for money is really good. Clean apartment, very nice owner, close to everything (5 mins to the Rab city center by car, 4 - max 15 min to pretty much any beach). The apartment is quite big and has 2 balconies with sea view.
Enough towels and big closets where you can fit all your stuff.
Though AC are old, they work well.
Our holiday in Rab, Croatia was much more better because we stayed at Josip. We had an amazing time there, he and his wife are great hosts. The room was clean, breakfast is tasty and varied, the location is 4 min close from the sea (by feet), we will definitely come back next year. Hvala vam, Josip 🤗
The location was perfect and easy to find after disembarking the ferry. The apartment was on the second floor and was called ANA. The bed was very comfortable and the cooking facilities were adequate. We loved Rab and did some lovely walks along the coast. The beach by the big hotel was idealic.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and brunch excellent, evening drinks around the pool a lovely surprise. Situated very near the city centre the hotel couldn't have been situated better. Its a lovely well preserved historical hotel which add value to the island.
The host was so lovely! She helped us check in a little early and was communicating with us over whatsapp. She was so helpful and the apartment is beautiful! So clean. On a nice quiet street a 5 minute walk from all the action in Rab. Stay here if you can! I wish we could stay longer
The view is amazing! Martina is a wonderful host and very helpful. The mattresses are firm and in good condition. The apartement is very well equiped. I very much hope I can come back sometime. The island RAB in September is very beautiful and less crowded.
The location is perfect, walking distance from several beaches and city of Rab. The apartment is big enough for a family, and has nice view to a little harbour. There is a possibility to park in the garden. Host was friendly.
Probably the best holiday home we’ve ever stayed in. Fully renovated old stone house, nicely designed, with a lot of clever features. Right in the middle of old Rab. Very attentive host. Absolutely recommended.
Very nice hosts, great house with parking, fully equipped. About 10min walk to 2 nearest beaches that are very nice for kids. 25min walk to downtown by the sea, Affordable water taxi if dont wanna walk...
The rooms can be compared to a 4 Star hotel! The host is welcoming and very nice, and the location is absolutely amazing. Everything was incredible but the best feature was the bed 😍
Very grand hotel located in the old town of Rab. Very friendly staff always on hand to help. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of hot and cold options
Everything else was fine, the host was very nice, left us the bowl with fruits and a cold beer in the fridge. The apartment is in the center of the old town
