Formerly used as a summer residence by Dubrovnik’s aristocratic family Getaldic-Gundulic, Apartments Batala is on the Lapad Peninsula just 30 feet from the Adriatic Sea. All rooms are spacious and have air conditioning and a private bathroom. Several bathrooms have a spa bathtub or washing machine. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace with views of Gruz Bay or the garden. A communal living room and kitchen can be used by all guests and Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Apartments Batala’s restaurant serves regional food which can be enjoyed on the terrace. Built in the 16th century, the property is conveniently located just 30 feet from the nearest restaurant and a 2 minute walk from the closest market. The local bus station is just 55 yards from the house and provides easy connections to Dubrovnik’s Old Town one mile away. A cable car can be used in the Old Town to get up Srdj Hill. Dubrovnik Airport can be reached by car in 30 minutes and airport transportation can be arranged upon request.

Apartments Batala is renovated apartment situated on the promenade near the sea, overlooking Gruz harbour. The apartment is very close to the city buzz but still a very quiet and nice place to enjoy your holidays.

Neighborhood info

Just in front of the building is bus station, and it needs seven minutes to reach Old Town and beaches... If you coming by car, there is public parking spaces with daily ticket. In front of the property is restaurant Loggia, where serves delicious innovative bistro style food which we would heartily recommend-it's one of our favourite Dubrovnik restaurants in fact! The apartment is situated near the harbour Gruž which is very convenient if You wish to take an organized boat-excursion or a coastal ferry to the nearby islands (Islands of Mljet and Korčula and Elaphiti Islands: Lopud, Koločep, Šipan). Shops, banks, post-office, pharmacies, the town's biggest green market, bakeries, restaurants are all within walking distance of the apartment. The nearest beach is situated in the bay Lapad which is also a beautiful promenade with marvellous view and nice and cosy cafés and restaurants.
