We have spent an amazing 11 nights at Bali Blue Bay. We stayed in a Privilege room with stunning views over the sea. The room was spacious, clean, with a big comfy bed. There was also a large balcony where me and my family sat to look at the stunning view. Breakfast was wonderful and they had a wide selection of food. The location was perfect. We had a relaxing time by the swimming pool + jacuzzi. The staff was outstanding. All staff were excellent- so polite and so charming. We were positively surprised by the cake they made for Marcelo's birthday (my grandson). Thank you so much! Everything was on the high level.

Small town but very pleasant. It has everything you need for a fun and relaxing vacation. Various activities can be done: cruises, excursions, quad safaris, snorkeling, scuba diving, etc. Being located in a bay, the sea water is very calm and ideal for swimming. Sandy, clean beaches. Tasty dishes at restaurants.

Balion is a very crowded , popular coastal town in Crete but once you park at the hotel you can just walk down the (steep) stairs to the little beach. It is a quiet location so perfect to sit and take in the view. We do get tired of hiring sunbeds to add to our holiday exenses and unfortunately there is only a tiny patch of sand to relax on. The jet skies get prime waterfront position too but once in the water, it is calm and very enjoyable. We stayed 2 nights, probably 4 would have been better to enjoy the views and atmosphere. I would definitely stay again but only in room105!

Beautiful place but need to know how to get to hotels.
Beautiful place but need to know how to get to hotels. There is a bus stop in the hill above the town so you need to wait for mini train into town unless you want to walk down hill into to town 20-30 minutes depending on your hotel local. I think there is only one taxi in town so they could be busy when you arrive,

Balion is basically a few little areas dotted along the coast. Each area has restaurants and hotels and a few shops. You can walk between a couple but for the ones further away you'll need a car or can use the small on road train service which runs every hour and is very cheap.
Mambo is a great choice to eat. There's also a great place at the very top of the hill - in a secluded bay with only 2 tavernas. Its the half way point on the train. The taverna furthest from the steps is the one to pick!
i very much liked the dinner buffet. got a very spacious room with seaview balcony. furniture was simple but sufficient. As end of season had no problem to park my car close to the hotel, guess this might be a problem in summer. the hotel is situated at main road, I could hear all passing cars, end of octobre not a problem. choosed the hotel for the first night after my arrival on crete, not too far from Heraklion. Bali is a nice cozy little village, great views, you have to be aware you need to be able to take many steps up and down.
We stayed at Bali Diamond as a couple with another couple of friends, and we all absolutely loved it. It's a small family run hotel, with super friendly helpful staff, especially Eva at reception, and Chrisoula, who created the magnificent daily breakfast banquets. It's very well located for the airports as well as all the points of interest locally.
I recommend this hotel very highly. Immaculately clean, well designed, lovely pools and terraces, with a relaxed yet smart atmosphere.
The hotel is situated in a nice location in bali, in less the a minute you are next to the beach and the restaurants, also the hotel restaurant serves amazing food and the pool area is beautiful. The staff were also nice and helpful, in August it was easy to find parking in the hotel's parking but even on the road it was easy to park. We thought it would be very crowded but for August it was not
There was a nice view from the balcony. Parking was easy and there were spaces available on the street next to the hotel. Breakfast was decent. There were indeed too many stairs, but it was fine for us as it was great exercise. There is a fridge in the room and a spacious balcony. The cleaning of the rooms was perfect. Sheets are changed every 2 days, and towels every day or every other day.
Loved everything! The rooftop pool was fantastic, delicious breakfast, cool and spacious 4-person bedroom with mezzanine level and balcony. Great shower and bathroom area. Especially loved the cliff down to the water and the free use of the SUP and kayak. We had never been to Bali but it had a really nice vibe and this hotel was an excellent choice. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was very rich and with plenty of local food. The same for the dinner.
The personnel was very friendly and flexible on all our demands.
Because we left in the last day very early the personnel gave us breakfast boxes.
We found in the hotel even a balance for the luggage so we well adjusted the carrying weight.
The prices on the beach and in the hotel bar were reasonable.
- The hospitality and flexibility of the hosts are truly incredible, if you have any kind of request they are there for you!
- Comfortable rooms with fridge and air conditioning
- 3 minute walk to the beach
- Great taverna at the hotel
- The pool that gets empty by the night
- Awesome breakfast!!!
- Easy access by public transportation from Heraklion
Great hotel!! Super nice and calm area, even it is directly In the city of old town bali! Everything is very clean, the staff is super nice and was always there to help! Great breakfast with eggs, cake and freshly made orange juice! Super clean and nice Pool! Great view from the balcony on Bali and the ocean, would highly recommend!!!
Very good location, close to nice beaches. The apartment was large and clean and had everything we needed. Nice terrace with a great view. There is a nice pool near you can use for free. Dimitris is a very nice guy, he even organized a party for all guests in the hotel where he played nice sons on guitar. Thank you for everything!
Good comfortable & friendly hotel. Good all inclusive food & beverage. Located in a lovely quiet and very remote area, so good for poolside relaxing holiday. You won't get the Cretan experience unless you venture outside of the resort. Shuttle bus is available down to Bali. We would stay again.
It was a perfect place to relax and wind down after a busy year. The view was great, as were the nearby beaches. There was a rack for drying swimwear and towels, which was a great provision. The location of the hotel was stellar, and the price was very very reasonable for what it provided.
We liked the proximity to the small town of Bali, at a short walk to restaurants and shops. Also some nice beaches were very close letting us take a set in the first row early in the morning.
The hotel facilities were nice.
The staff were so friendly and the hotel was spotless. Lovely modern rooms and great pool area. We’d had a terrible experience at the T-suites hotel up the road and the staff at Bali Star turned our whole holiday around
excellent location at a quiet end of Bali, this is our second time at this hotel. Great selection for breakfast, clean rooms with daily cleaning. Pool is lovely. Ideal for families with young children
A back alley view and a moldy air conditioning does not make a "Deluxe Room".
For sure the hotel is nice, but our stay was completely damaged by the room we received.
The atmosphere of the hotel is amazing. The view is magnificent. The food is delicious. The staff is really nice and pleasant, especially the manager Stelios.
great location, quick access to three of the beaches of Bali
the whole staff of the hotel and the adjoining supermarket are such lovely & helpful people
