The pool area had lots of chairs and sun beds as well the pool was clean and refreshing on a hot greek day.The ambiance around the hotel was perfect. Breakfast in the morning had lots of options, so something for everyone. Rooms were clean and had everything you needed. Can not say enough great things.

The average price per night for a 3-star hotel in Ios Chora this weekend is $94 or, for a 4-star hotel, $113. Looking for something even fancier? 5-star hotels in Ios Chora for this weekend cost around $191 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).
Ios Chora is the main town on the island of Ios. It's full of friendly local people, and a mix of expats who have made their homes there, or who visit year after year because of the island's ambience. My stay was over the Easter period, which in itself is a marvelous opportunity to observe or partake in the ages-old traditions of the Greek Orthodox religion. Later in the year, as the temperatures heat up, the town welcomes a much younger crowd, as bars and nightclubs open up to transform Ios into "party island"!

Ios is a beautiful island.
Ios is a beautiful island. The beaches, the food, the people, the buildings, the scenery, the nightlife, the chill factor but most of all the overall vibe is the best of any of the Greek islands I have visited and I can’t wait to go back there. The boat trip taking you to the 6 beaches is amazing with snorkelling thrown in. The square and its bars is a must. Sunsets in various location are stunning and the local traditional restaurants provide amazing food at reasonable prices

October was a very out of season time to visit Ios, most bars, restaurants and shops were closed so there was not much to do in the main town. The buses had stopped doing all routes apart from 3 stops.

Chora is the only one village on the whole island, very pitoresc and full of small streets with lot of shops, bars and restaurants. There are a number of beaches on the Island, worth to visit and very good accessible by car. best of all for sure the Koumbara Bay with the perfect sunbeds and great service, not cheap but worth each penny!
This is my second stay and it was even better. Corali Hotel is a sensual delight -- the gorgeous, unique foliage, the large pool (large enough for laps) with many beach loungers and umbrellas, the outdoor restaurant and bar with lovely, distinctive visuals everywhere you turned. The owners are always present, working, eager to talk, advise, listen. Amazing breakfast with an ocean view. No wonder guests return annually or even more often. Strong A/C and wifi. Cotton bedding.
Staff were amazing, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. They went the extra mile for my family and it was so appreciated. We wish we were staying there longer. They were even extremely welcoming to my Dad who was staying at another hotel but were happy for him to use facilities to allow him to spend time with us. If we decide to go back to Greece then will 100% be spending some time here. So glad we picked to stay here. Can't thank the staff enough for making our stay great.
We took a suite with private pool and though quite pricey, it was worth it - the hotel is conveniently located to enjoy a nice view of the sunset, the room was big a nicely decorated. The center of Ios is few min away and plenty of options to rent a scooter nearby.
Hotel staff is very helpful and attentive. They offered us a complementary ride from and to the port and provided excellent restaurant advices - we had the best restaurants of our full stay in Greece.
Everything was better than expected! First of, the owner/manager was such a kind and knowledgeable person, he gave us a lot of tips from which beaches to visit to where to eat and more. The pool had a nice view and was great for windy days, when you couldn't go to the beach. The rooms were really modern and overall probably the best we've seen in 3 years of traveling around Greece. We loved Ios and hopefully we will come again next year as well!
The location was perfect, not too far away from the harbor and the Chora. The accommodation was very clean and quite and the Hotel Glaros offered us to use the sun beds on the beach in front of the hotel, for free..! It was obvious to us, that the "new" hotel management generation (both sons) were on the way to exceed the performance of the "old" generation (mother & father). We really enjoyed the family atmosphere and the generous hospitality.
We had a lovely stay. The family running the show did a great job to keep us comfortable. The owner (who's name escapes me sorry, Alex something) got us a great deal on a car to drive around the island with, and his brother George gave us a fantastic introduction to the island with loads of helpful recommendations and a marked-up map.
The pool area is very comfortable as well.
Would recommend Golden Sun Hotel.
Staff are exceptional. Friendly and helpful.
Prefect location. Walk off ferry around harbour to hotel in a few minutes.
Lots of restaurants and bar options within walking distance. Bus to get you to main town every 20 mins, which takes around 5/10 mins.
Great local beach too.
Rooms lovely. Spacious. Spotlessly clean. Good view from balcony
Location excellent…walking distance to town and opposite direction to beach. Spectacular view of the Sea.
All Hotel staff the friendliest I’ve had in Greece…
Food is delicious with many extra cakes & deserts for guests.
Our stay was amazing. Best hotel in Ios…I will be back!!
The two sister who own and manage the hotel, Nicole and Poppy, are very helpful and friendly.
The location is walkable from the ferry and just across the street from the beach. There are also números good restaurants and bars within walking distance.
Free pickup service from/to the Port by hospitable owner Nikos.
Nice view from the terrace to the opposite hill, Ios Chora with the Church Panagia Gremiotissa and the three chapels above.
Central location, Cleanliness, Comfort, Value for Money...
This was such a great hotel! The owners picked us up from the ferry for free and let us check in early as the room was ready! It’s a great location for night life (only a short walk to the bars) and the pool has a nice bar for refreshments!
Sparklingly clean room. Giant room for the price with king size bed. Fast and stable wifi. Great location. The interior, furniture, and fixtures are in perfect condition. Convenient location.
It was very pleasant hotel, and great value!
If I need to choose I would say that this hotel has two main strengths: Service and outdoor/common area. The staff is amazingly prepared and kind. Breakfast was amazing, by far the best we had during our vacations in Greece this year.
The location of the hotel was perfect. It had great views of the Chora but far enough away that the late night music didn't keep you up all night. Breakfast was great. Staff was great. They were friendly as can be.
For the price of this hotel, my friends and I were impressed with the cleanliness and overall style of the hotel. The pool is stunning and has a cute bar next to it, the staff are generous.
Best hotel in all of Ios. Amazing hospitality, super nice people, especially the owner! Also the most beautiful view of Ios, with a delicious breakfast included in a very good price.
Nikki and Lisa were amazing. The hotel was more beautiful than the photos and the pool and room were beautiful. I loved it and will definitely stay here again if I return to Ios.
Staff were very nice, great location to be by the relaxing port as opposed to the craziness of the town. Simple hotel with everything you need. Amazing views from the balconies.
