Loved everything about this place! It's away from the overpriced Fira and Oia areas, only 2 km from the black sand beaches and great seaside restaurants in Perissa. And it's only a 1 minute walk to the bus line which can take you pretty much everywhere for just a few Euros (for comparison, we were quoted 80 Euros for a 3 km taxi/Uber). The room and grounds were so beautiful, and our hosts were so pleasant and helpful!!

On the crossroads of Perissa and Perivolos, lies the beautifully restored Margarenia. The complex offers self catering accommodations, an outdoor pool and free parking. Built in the traditional Cycladic style, Margarenia consists of large, bright studios and duplex apartments, each with free WiFi, satellite TV, air conditioning, kitchen and balcony. Margarenia is only a few minutes’ walk from the 7-mile-long black beach of Perissa and Perivolos. Also within 164 feet of the studios you will find a mini Market, a tourist office and the bus stop. The property offers shuttle service upon request and an extra charge. The relaxed family atmosphere, Greek hospitality and friendly service will ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay.
