We had a very pleasant stay for 2 nights. These homes are nice (even better than they look in pictures), ample-spaced, with good beds, and a nice balcony. The location is ideal, a short walking distance (~5 min) from the village and the beach, in a safe but very quiet area - note: the walk from the village has a short uphill segment, but the village is also easily approachable by car. This is a self-catering type of accommodation, but owners also live on the premises, they are welcoming and always around to help.

Property info

In the the southwest part of Messinia, next to the picturesque village of Finikounda, is located the seaside “Lontos Village”. The houses are situated in a majestic location just over the waves. Our unit consists of 6 new, comfortable furnished houses (about 35 m2 each). Each house can sleep up to 1-3 people. All of the houses have two spacious verandas, from which you can enjoy, a spectaular view to the sea.

Neighborhood info

inikounda is located in a beautiful sheltered bay built almost at the point where the wave lap at the shore. It nestles in a lee anchorage opposite the Islet of Shciza.The seafront is lined with tavernas serving their freshly caught fish. Finikounda is famous for the excellent sea and the vilage has a golden sandy beach with crystal waters ideal for swimming. To the east is Aemomylos beach ,to the west of Finikounda is a great beach with a broad stretch of golden sand and is back by wild sandunes. Also there are many other excellent beaches nearby to explore.Every Year the Finikounda beaches are awarded the European Blue Flag.Finikounda also offers water sport such as wind surfing and sailing in the summer season. There are a lot of interesting places to visit around Finikounda. BLUE FLAG BEACHES
