Wir waren zu dritt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Grundbedarf wie Reinigungsmittel, Waschmittel, Spültabs, Gewürze u.ä. waren vorhanden. Gastgeberin Denis war sehr freundlich. Sie hat uns bei Ankunft erwartet, alles erklärt und uns bei der Planung von Ausflügen unterstützt. Am Abreisetag durften wir gratis länger bleiben, da es keinen Nacholgemieter gab. Fußläufig (10 min) sind Bäcker, Fleischer, Apotheke, Minimarkt und zwei Restaurants erreichbar. Auch wenn es eine Bushaltestelle nur 5 min von der Unterkunft gibt, macht das mit dem Auto dann doch mehr Sinn. Anfang Oktober war es dann nicht mehr so heiß, dadurch war auch der Pool nicht mehr so warm, kälter als das Meer, aber dennoch ausreichend. Am Rethymno Beach waren wir zweimal baden, ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Dort kann man an vielen Stellen kostenlos Liegen und Schirme bekommen, wenn man am zugehörigen Bistro etwas bestellt.
