Located in the quiet village of Vagia, The Beachhouse is right on the beach. It offers self-catering units with views to the garden or the Saronic Gulf. Free WiFi is available in some areas. Opening to a balcony or terrace, all air-conditioned apartments of Beachhouse come with a separate bedroom. Each has a dining area and a kitchenette with dining table and mini oven with hobs. Activities in the surrounding area include cycling, fishing and hiking. Several fish tavernas can be found within a short walk. Aegina Town with the island’s port is a 10-minute drive away and Souvala Harbor is a 5-minute drive away. The ancient Temple of Aphaia is a 30-minute walk away.

The Beachhouse Apartments & The Beachhouse Villa, is an adults only accommodation and is located in front of a lovely little public beach in a quaint village called Vagia, on the north side of Aegina island. It's an area with a few tourists. The sea directly in front of the Beachhouse resembles a shallow swimming pool, with crystal clear water, and protected by a natural stone formation. At the beach you find a beach bar with comfortable seating and 5 sets of sun loungers. The Beachhouse Villa is a separate building, 80 metres away from the Apartments. With a large terrace and unlimited sea view. Also, 4 of our Beachhouse Apartments are beachfront ones that also benefit from an unmatched sea view. Since September 2023 our accommodation became an ADULTS ONLY accommodation, with a maximum of only 2 adults in the apartments and 4 persons in the Villa. During the day, the Beachhouse Beach Bar serves coffee, fruit juice, Matcha tea, almond & soya milk, refreshments, wine, beers, Greek yogurt, fruit salads, toasties and the tasty Beachhouse plate. Our bar is open from April until Nov. The 8 SELF-CATERING apartments all have their own atmosphere, art works and color setting; they are not modern but are decorated with love, care and good vibes. Each apartment reflects a color of the chakras and is named after it. The apartments and the villa are TV free. As SELF-CATERING apartments we do not provide full daily cleaning, though we remove your rubbish daily and on request we can help you sweep and mop when needed. Sheets and towels are replaced when needed. We have three wonderful, friendly, rescued cats, Mamalou, Zeus and Bubbles, as we want them to live peacefully around our premises we do not allow other pets to stay in the apartments. During the season, we organize weekly live music either in the late afternoon or evening. The Beachhouse Apartments, for the majority of the year, is a place to relax, recharge and rebalance. FREE WiFi is available in all areas.
My name is Lizzy and I am running The Beachhouse Apartments & Beach bar since 2020. It was In 1993, when I first visited Aegina island. I returned several times before I followed my heart and relocated myself with my cat and dog from the Netherlands to the island where I awakened, healed and started to live my soul’s passion in 2002. I have been sharing my love for this little Greek paradise through my AeginaHealing (former AeginaGreece) website with millions, since 2003. The beach in front is used by locals and guests of The Beachhouse Apartments and The Beachhouse villa. It can be VERY BUSY during the summer months and very quiet during the off season months. At certain times in the day, the beach can be very crowded with lots of mothers with small children. But also the older Greek grand mothers like to gather in the sea in the mornings. Vagia is the only area on the island where you can make nice walks next to the sea or you can hike up all the way to Paleachora through the pine forest or hike up to the Aphaia temple. There are several restaurants in our neighborhood; the closest one, just around the corner, is excellent restaurant Panorama. This family run restaurant is offering lovely Greek food and is very convenient when you don't want to go far. Restaurant Horevtra is at a 25 minutes walking distance and Restaurant Aeolos is at a 15 min. walking distance. The closest super market is 25 minutes away by foot and 2 minutes away by car. We recommend to rent means of transport for convenience and to explore the island. We can arrange cars and motor bikes and we are happy to give you tips for discovering Aegina.
