    It depends what people want.

It depends what people want. A good place for children, with rides on the front and arcades for games. We didn't go on the beach, too cold. Quite a few nice shops and cafes. Where we stayed was literally 5 minutes walk from the Spa theatre, which we went to for 2 evening shows. It also has a cafe. About 10 minutes walk to the harbour and town centre. It seemed to have plenty of buses for people staying further out. There were 2 restaurants across from the theatre. A Mediterranean and a Chinese. We had meals at the Mediterranean, which were good and understood that the Chinese was also a good place to eat. Fish and chip shops were also in the town centre.

We arrived in the rain, and found it tricky to find our way around eventually finding the harbour carpark. The seafront beyond the amusement arcades which look a bit rundown, is pleasant with a lovely promenade with good access for everyone.Lovely sandy beachtoo. We spent our visit at nearby Sewerby Hall and gardens, Flamborough cliffs and Bemptoncliffs. Marton Grange is a cosy haven after walking the coastal paths.

    Wonderful place.

Wonderful place. Something for everyone, quiet parts, lively parts, child friendly, lots of spaces where dogs are allowed, clear notices where they are not. The promenade: lots of public toilets signed wit the distance between so you can see which is nearest. Nice to see the harbour. Lots of shops in the centre of town.

Bridlington is a lovely seaside town with sandy beaches.

Bridlington is a lovely seaside town with sandy beaches. You can indulge in some fish and chip shops and an ice cream while taking in the sea air along the sea front. There are a good range of shops. There are a good selection of restaurants too, we had a meal at a Chinese restaurant called Yips, the food was excellent. There is a cafe/bar called Jeromes on the pavilion where you can enjoy a drink and take in the sea view either sitting inside on a windy day or outside when it's warmer.

Everything was pristine and new. The host had left a basket, treats and blankets for the dog which was very thoughtful. Ideal location for us as we went to the Bridlington Spa and it is literally 2 minutes away. The apartment is not big but there is still plenty of space. It has a good entrance space where you can leave coats and shoes. The shower was really nice, everything worked. It was also easy to access the apartment as it has a key box.

The location was amazing on the sea front and not even a 2 minute walk into the town! owners were so friendly, helpful, welcoming and the room was a cute seaside theme and different compared to a boring hotel room. You look out the window and see the sea which is perfect. your own parking space which was an amazing BONUS as main issues with other accommodations never have parking. Will be coming back! Thank you X

The room was comfortable and clean and had everything that we would have expected to find. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We have been frequent day trip visitors to Bridlington in the past and have limited experience of other hotels. If we were to return would have no hesitation in rebooking The Monarch. Great location, easy to find , just a great all, round experience. Thank you Team Monarch!!

Amazing location, couldn't have had a better location for a stay in Bridlington. Watching the sea from our balcony view until it went dark, and waking up to the sea was a wonderful experience. Perfect place to stay for a long weekend. The owners of the flat prepared us for our stay by sharing details through e-mail, and as I had a few questions they were quick and helpful in their response.

Excellent stay at The Mon Fort, lovely big modern room and a delicious breakfast each day. Location is great too. We would most certainly stay again. Friendly and polite owners, nothing was too much trouble. Everything about The Mon Fort was excellent. I visit Bridlington 2/3 times per year and this was the nicest hotel we have stayed in. Thank you

We liked the location of the hotel to all Bridlington has to offer, everything within walking distance. The hosts were very friendly, sociable and welcoming, nothing was any trouble for them. Most importantly was the breakfast, it was fantastic, lots of choice and just what is needed to start your day off.

Good location just one street back from the sea front. Breakfast was very good plenty of choice. Only £3 parking charge for whole stay just outside the Hotel or very close by. We had a good sized well equipped room without a view which was a bit cheaper as we were out most of the time.

Even though the Royal Bridlington Hotel took payment from my bank account on Wednesday, when we turned up on Friday we were told that the hotel had over booked because the hotel had not seen the booking till Thursday evening, how can they say that if they took payment the day before!
