Plenty to see and do, we went specifically for a show but there are various museums, theatres and attractions. Also recommend having a curry as Bradford is supposed to be the curry capital of the UK. We were there on a theatre visit.
We were there on a theatre visit. The city is in the middle of major refurbishment in the centre and many of the roads were closed to traffic but we were able to walk from the hotel to the theatre quite comfortably. I like the look of the city and everyone we met seemed friendly.

Didn't spend much time in Bradford itself which is presently in a mess preparing for city of culture in 2025. We were visiting Saltaire which was a very different matter and pleasant. Enjoyed visiting Salts Mill and East Ribblesden Hall near Keighley. Above all the visit enabled us to see oldest friends now living in Saltaire. Bradford is a vibrant, multicultural city and seems to have lots of things - art, theatre, and live events, to enjoy. Great restaurants - we had an Indian meal at the Balti House, which was excellent value and very tasty.
