Such a wonderful stay, in a lovely cosy pub. Very friendly staff, lovely food, comfortable & clean room. We felt very relaxed and our stay at The Foresters made our weekend. A lovely breakfast to start our day and then off to explore Bath.

Lovely welcome from the host, including a fresh cake as well as the breakfast included. They lit a candle on the table outside our hut and put the fairy lights on ready. Perfect, quiet getaway and could see the stars in the sky. We are looking forward to planning another stay here.

From the very warm welcome from Nicki as we arrived paved the way for our overnight stay.
The room was exceptionally clean with lovely touches such as the chocolates on our towels to the complimentary fizz in the mini fridge.
The continental breakfast was plentiful and a refreshing change from the usual fry up offered.
Nicki was friendly and helpful - it felt like we had known her for years.
If Nicki and Tim were running a hotel it would definitely be a 5star one.
We would recommend this fab B&B to anyone staying in the area.

We had a lovely night at the old sun.
Chris was a great host very welcoming.
We went to a wedding about 10 mins away and Chris very kindly took us and picked us up.
The next morning he made us a lovely cooked breakfast, so much food and tea!
Lots of snacks and drinks in the room.
The room was really nice with the comfiest bed.
We also met Peggy the dog who is very sweet :)
Would definitely go back again.
Thanks Chris for making us feel welcome.

I know Frome as I lived here in the 80s. Lovely quaint market town, but it has become more busy and parking is difficult generally. Two theatres... great! And lots of entertainment in Cheese and Grain. Very hilly place, ok if you’re fit to walk everywhere, if not there are buses.

Lots going on and plenty of places to wander around. Interesting independent shops and eating places (but book ahead at the weekend fof evening dining). Good as a base for exploring West Wiltshire and Somerset.

The George hotel, fronting on to a busy main road, was noisy; it was only single-glazed. From what we could tell, Frome offers no other hotels - shame.
There were some nice eating places in the town; we visited a fine Italian restaurant on three evenings, no less.
We also happened on an excellent coffee/chocolate shop, appropriately called Choc. The staff were excellent, as was the produce.
Frome benefits from a railway station, with frequent services to Bath and beyond, also to Weymouth. Alas, for us it involved a mile-long walk from the centre of the town.

Absolutely beautiful and quirky.
Absolutely beautiful and quirky. Loads of independent shops and eateries. Wonderful independent cinema and fabulous old-fashioned bakery with gorgeous cakes.
The Lamb and Fountain is the most incredible old-fashioned pub in a backstreet. Like stepping back in time. Delicious and very cheap farmhouse cider on draft and cheese and onion rolls for sale. Has a lovely courtyard garden down an alleyway out the back.

We stayed at the George in Nunney which is the most beautiful little village. Outdoor seating at the pub both in their gardens and over the road where you can sit by the river with a perfect view of the castle.
Their is an ancient monument and a lovely church, a picture perfect little village.
The castle is free to walk around in to go inside.
We ate in the George and the food was excellent both for dinner and breakfast. The staff are police, efficient and helpful.
I couldn't recommend both the pub and the village more.

We loved Bistro Lotte. The room was spotless the bed lovely and snuggly. The food was fabulous we ate at Bistro Lotte on the first evening and my husband said he had the best steak he has ever eaten. The hotel itself is only a stones throw from the centre of Frome just at the top of St Catherine’s Hill where you walk down into the gorgeous town.
Interesting characterful house (though you will bang your head, guaranteed!) Very comfy bed and cosy room. Nice to have tea/coffee/milk in the room. Location is excellent though there is some pub noise opposite at turning out time (and drunk people of course!). But the general area is lovely. House owners are very friendly and welcoming.
What a great B&B! Very handy location for our visit to Longleat. Walking distance to Frome town centre with parking on site. Frome itself was nice, lots of independent shops with plenty of coffee shops!
The B&B itself was great. Had everything we need, Claire could not have been any more accommodating.
Beautiful location just outside Frome in quiet countryside village. Lovely garden and view.
Clean comfortable accommodation and communal area for dining/ breakfast. Host Chris is very friendly and really helpful ensures you are comfortable .

Host very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Incredibly comfortable in her company.
We thoroughly enjoyed out stay and would not look anywhere else for accommodation if returning to Frome.
Gorgeous bed and breakfast in the heart of Frome. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and are equipped with large bathtubs. Breakfast was also excellent and staff was very kind and accommodated special requests.
Lovely family cottage in the centre of Frome.
Fully equipped with a fantastic kitchen dinner, my grandson made good use of all the toys.
Shame we were only staying for one night would of been nice to stay longer.
Host was immensely hospitable, considerate and welcoming in sharing his home and knowledge of the local area The cottage and grounds were lovely and close to Frome and other sites of interest to visitors.
We were made to feel so welcome. Lovely quiet location. Lovely touches such as chocolates in the room and two mini Prosecco bottles. Took about 20 minutes to walk into the centre of Frome
Fantastic location for the center of Frome, excellent service from warm and friendly staff, a great room with an effective shower, and a great breakfast to see us on our way 😁
