We stayed in the four poster room. The room was so lovely and quite large with a nice size on-suite. The mattress was very comfortable! Breakfast was wonderful and fully accommodated our dietary needs ( I need gluten free meals.) The location is so beautiful! We had a great stay, and Linda and Dougie are lovely.

Comfortable beds and pillows. It was very clean and comfortable. The meals were delicious. Very nice hosts.
Fairburn Activity Center is set in the Scottish woodland of Strathconon Glen and is a 30 minutes' drive from Inverness. It offers limited free Wi-Fi in the downstairs public areas and parking.
Easy to get to if no car. Hourly bus service from Inverness.
Easy to get to if no car. Hourly bus service from Inverness. Also a less frequent train service. Two local taxi services operate in Beauly area. There are quite a few places to walk (country and riverside walks). Lovely priory to visit. Kilmorack Gallery a few miles outside Beauly also worth a visit. Several eating places and cafes. Recommend The Priory Hotel, The Friary chipper and Corner On The Square gourmet eatery and deli.

We were just passing through on our way to the very top so it was a fleeing visit. Stayed in a fantastic b&b just outside of Beauly. Went into the town in the evening for a meal in the local hotel. A lovely wee town and warrants a return visit to see more of the place and use more of the local ameneties.

The superior bedroom was very big with a very comfortable king size bed. The shower room looked newly decorated and was scrupulously clean. The breakfast had a very good selection of food and was tasty.

I loved the area where the house was which is in Kirkhill not actually in Beauly as Booking.com has stated it’s about a couple of miles out of Beauly but a beautiful place.. Kirkhill is a small village it has a war mausoleum which you can be taken round, also there is a beautiful estate where you can get married in called achnagairn estate and also a lovely walk just around from the property which Sheila and Willie are most helpful in telling you where these all are..
Great central location for easy access to Inverness, Glen Affric and Black Isle.
Beauly is a lovely spot with good options for eating out. Fraser Cottage was very comfortable with a sweet courtyard garden and a unique style of decor such as the many mirrors in the bathroom! Open plan downstairs giving a good spacious feel
Well equipped and fab welcome of shortbread, Irn Bru and milk.
Cheapest fuel for miles was in Beauly- Jet.
Fantastic annex, separated from the main house which had a bedroom, living room/equipped kitchenette. Very comfortable apartment. Lovely views over the fields. A countryside feel, but only 10 minutes from Beauly and 20 from Inverness. Host was very welcoming and gave lots of excellent tips for seeing the local area and for dining options. Would have stayed longer if we could.
Wonderful setting with views across the fields to the hills behind. Facilities were perfectly adequate and the kitchen has everything you would need. Very friendly owner, with an equally friendly dog, who always came to say hello. The local pub serves a great pint from a local brewery, is also serves food, although we didn't eat there the menu seemed pretty good.
Our host Fiona was friendly, welcoming and hospitable. The property looked out on attractive farmland. Our room, though small, was clean and well-appointed. A variety of breakfast choices was provided and the cooked selection was delicious. Plenty of on-site parking was available. Dinner options were possible in Beauly, only a short drive away.
Overnight flight into Inverness so we were tired. The hotel recommended the Swan restaurant which was excellent. It is on the way to the hotel. We were met and showed to our room which was lovely. It had coffee and tea. Breakfast was made to order and we headed on our way to the NC500 route. A nice beginning !
I really liked how quaint the hotel was with traditional Scottish flair. And the hotel is in a great location in the center of the little town Beauly which has some great shops and restaurants. I did not eat at the hotel restaurants but it was nice to know there was food in the hotel in case I needed it.
Well equipped apartment in the heart of the village. The kitchen was well provided with equipment and utensils. The beds were comfy. Parking space was useful. Beauly has lots of character and many interesting shops. A great place to explore Inverness and beyond.
If you need a starting point towards the northwest of Scotland - this is the place to stay.
The place is big enough for 4 people, the view is great, quiet, 20 minute drive to Inverness.
Drive 30 minutes northwest and you're off to a great scenery.
nice for a friend group, independent rooms and common areas. Equipment rather oriented for shorter stays, and people who don’t cook too much (we are french, we have high expectations !). The coop in Beauly is 6mn away and very well appointed.
The room was fine, though I prefer twin beds not to be pushed together like a double bed. The price for bed only was reasonable. We didn't stay for breakfast as there was no information about the price either online or at the hotel.
Very clean and attractively decorated. Centrally situated in Beauly. Easy to access and check in. Nice to have a small cooking area. Owner was easy to contact and quick to reply to messages.
The apartment room was amazing and spacious. Having access to a clothes washer made the stay that much more enjoyable. The location is close to major cities, and Beauly is a gorgeous town.
This is the most amazing place with amenities one would usually find only in 5 star hotels. Perfect location and wonderful breakfast ! We will be back :)
The room as well as the rest of the accommodation was superb. Felt like a five star hotel. Very comfortable, clean and luxurious. Host was very friendly.
