Beautiful views over the water. Wonderful views from the room. Clean, comfortable and quiet room. You can walk to some really neat cliff walks and even get down to the shore by going through the cliff hotel next-door. Breakfast was delicious!

Fabulous stay, the proprietors were warm and welcoming. Gave great tips of things to see in the area and a little further out. The pub was a haven after a busy day touring about. The restaurant was excellent and interesting to cook your own protein. There was a gas bar a block away and a fish & chip shop that was doing a very brisk business.

Hotel is in a beautiful location, the most comfortable beds! A really fabulous night's sleep. Gorgeous walks down to the beach and around the caves. The spa was lovely and every member of staff around the hotel was super friendly, helpful, polite.... just really good people! A special shout out to Elaina on reception. We hadn't planned on staying at this hotel, we stumbled across it whilst camping and I'm so glad we did. I will definitely come back for a planned, longer visit in the Summer.
My only criticism would be breakfast, while the hot selection is really good, the fruit and pastry's were poor quality and it showed, they were really un-appetising. But that is a minor, on the whole fabulous stay and will be back.

If you need a getaway from city life, this is it. 15 minutes from the property were 2 waterfalls (Tresaith & FFynone), well worth a visit when you are down. Upon arrival at the cottages, you drive down a long fairytale driveway with a beautiful stream, easy parking outside then opposite the cottages are brown fluffy sheep & a Shetland pony in the field, birds tweeting! Tranquil surroundings, but near enough to the coast & nearby towns. Our cottage was spotless & charming, had everything we needed. The owner Rob was really lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore more. 🌳🌷🪺🪵🦋

Cardigan Castle disappointing, not much to see, may be of more interest to somebody wanting historical facts. To me a waste of time and money. Castle virtually non existent.
Cardigan is a town that time has forgotten! For that it is pleasantly quaint. Nice cafes.
Probably better on a fine day!

2 days just wasn't enough for me, as just a little further out was glorious bays, beaches and mountains but more spectacular was the waterfalls

Not a great deal in the town and much is shut early in the week including restaurants and bars but there are some gems. The Copper Pot serves excellent food and the welcome at the Black Lion Hotel could not be warmer.
Beautiful accommodation in a lovely home and rooms just outside of Cardigan. Wonderful fresh cut up fruit is served with your breakfast. Hostess was lovely and very accommodating. We needed an earlier breakfast in order to catch the Poppit Rocket bus to hike a stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
The approximate mile long road approaching the lodging is a typical narrow country lane (with turnouts) that can be a little nerve wracking for those not accustomed to narrow roads. This establishment is well worth the drive down to it.
We enjoyed the whole experience, The hotel, room, parking, Breakfast, staff, location there was nothing to complain about but everything to make our stay a very happy stay. Thank you to the hotel staff for a very professionally run operation and very friendly interaction that goes a long way to remembering a very happy stay. We would definetly stay at this hotel if in the area in the future.
Best wishes and good luck to Cardigan Castle Hotel.

The Cottage is on the site of the beautiful Penrallt Country House Hotel in Aberporth which is a lovely setting.

Try 'A Bay to Remember' for boat trips
The location is superb for town, yet was very quiet, even in the garden. The garden is lovely and has adequate privacy (great for yoga!). The cottage is very comfortable, relaxing and tastefully furnished. There was thorough information about the house, appliances, services and local area provided by the host in 2 well stocked files. Would definitely rebook.
Good location central to the Town and a good base to visit the area. Car park accessed via gated entrance was narrow so care needed. Accommodation was within Castle grounds in annexe to main building. Room was large with en-suite just as large, overlooking Castle garden. Breakfast in Castle cafe, friendly staff with views to river or castle grounds.

Cheap hotel in a nice area, so at the price it was you can't really complain. The room was a good size and had all the facilities we needed. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Cardigan is a lovely little town with lots of independent shops and cafes.
Warm and welcoming hosts - nothing too much trouble. Clean, comfortable rooms. Excellent food. Friendly locals. Very good value and great location for exploring Cardigan Bay and Pembrokeshire.
The stay was perfect from start to finish. Location of hotel superb. Staff were welcoming at reception and this continued with staff being helpful and friendly throughout our stay.
