It was in a great location, easy to walk around to the sights of Southampton and cruise ship terminal across the street. Also a great mature green space right across the street. It had a great fun and unique vibe, clean, modern, funky and vibrant! Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, large bathrooms, good lighting and blackout curtains.

I love everything about the hotel
. The staffs were very friendly and professional. I told them ahead that it was my birthday and they left a very cute note and chocolate in the room for me. That was very thoughtful and kind of them. Thank you Paul and the team, I really appreciate the kind gesture.

Friendly staff and a cheerful check in. Breakfast was so delicious, the room was opulent and very clean. Can’t fault anything and the bathrobes and chocolates were most welcome. The decor is well thought out and colour schemes relaxing. We appreciated being able to leave our bags in the office for a couple of hours.

A departure point for Isle of Wight ferries and grand cruise liners including the Queen Mary 2, Southampton is understandably centered around its port. But even if you’re passing through, the city has more than enough to make you want to stay awhile. The Hythe Ferry from the port passes Netley, site of a ruined abbey, and ends at Hythe Pier, home to the world’s oldest pier train.
There is much older history in the city center where the 15th-century city walls are amongs the most complete in England. Also remaining is the medieval Bargate gatehouse.
Just behind is the Bargate Shopping Center, while main street stores in the city center and West Quay are other Southampton shopping choices. As for entertainment, the city has great theaters, and Oxford Street has the best bars and restaurants. All are easily reached from the apartments, B&Bs and hotels in Southampton available on Booking.com.
There is also a surprising amount of green space in the city and its central parks is a historic site. Slightly further out is Southampton Common, whose Urban Wildlife Centre is worth a visit.
If you’re flying out of Southampton Airport, don’t leave without having visited the Maritime Museum or Archaeology Museum, both detailing the history of this long-established city.
Very close to cruise terminals. Large shops like Matalan ( never seen one so large with everything you'd need). Mamas & papas. Close to many eateries like TGI Fridays/5 guys/las iguanas/ Brazilian & mexican.

We went to Southampton to go to the Mayflower theatre which is good value compared to London theatres. It has lots of shows and good facilities. We will go back. We also had a good dinner at Papillon which is opposite the theatre. We stayed at the Ibis which is good value and well located for the Mayflower.

If visiting Southampton stay closer to city centre.
If visiting Southampton stay closer to city centre. This hotel was practically surrounded by a building site. Drink were extortionate, limited food available not as described on website. Saving grace lovely reasonable pub/restaurant within a few minutes walk.

We stayed in 003.
We stayed in 003. Very spacious but this is what facilities I should have had.
The spacious family room features a tea and coffee maker and a seating area, as well as a private bathroom boasting a bath. The well-equipped kitchen has a refrigerator, kitchenware, a microwave and a toaster. This family room features a sofa, heating and a flat-screen TV. The unit has 2 beds.
All we got was the tea & coffee making facilities. Table in there but nothing else.
Rooms spacious but found lounge & beds very uncomfortable. Thankfully only stayed the one night.
Quiet & grounds lovely.

The town centre has loads of shops and a large indoor shopping centre. There are several parks and lots of green space available. There was a huge choice of cafes, restaurants and pubs for all price brackets. We went to the 1865 club which holds lots of musical events. We were a bit concerned doing the 30 minute walk through the parks when the event finnished, however we saw at least 3 separate groups of police walking around the town and parks so felt very safe.

We had a really good stay with several nice meals, Found the people very pleasant and helpful. Really good shopping centres. Town was not too big and by the sea with several parks. There was something for all ages. Had all the major entertainments like cinema and ten pin bowling. Lovely museum and art gallery - well worth a visit.
This is an old hotel in an excellent location on main high street but it should have been modernised by now instead it lives off its location to service a flow of coach parties using Southampton port. Water just above body temperature in morning, only paper cups at breakfast buffet. Useful only for its location right in the centre of the Southampton right by main shopping area and restaurants, otherwise a out of town premiere inn will probably provide a better room and breakfast
The room was comfortable and easy to reach. Staff were welcoming and very accommodating. They checked us in and arranged dinner reservations at the hotel's restaurant. The bed was very comfortable and the location was near friends as requested. Breakfast was delicious the next morning. The staff arranged a taxi for transportation to the cruise pier. It was a wonderful stay.
Very clean environment cleaner than some hotels.
Mostly quiet. Was nice to have access to a kitchen and a fridge. I was able to cook a breakfast on the last morning and I used kitchen utensils which were provided. The shops were not a long walk and they were near the station and a bus stop leading into town centre of Southampton.
What a fabulous hotel, central to all amenities, parking available at a small cost. Room really clean and modernly furnished, lovely bathroom too, although water wasn't very hot in the morning, but bearable. Didn't eat/drink hotel, so cannot comment on that. Would definitely book again if in Southampton again . Thank you
Them to like what is the price and location, my partner works for a cruise line and was joining a ship in Southampton the following day. To save the early drive we went the night before and stayed over, the location of the hotel is about 45 seconds walk to the cruise terminal and for £40 a night you can't really argue...
Lovely hotel in a great location, my room was large, spacious, clean and comfortable, the biggest bonus was the large car park next to the hotel and to find out when checking out that it was free for hotel guests! When I'm next in Southampton I will definitely stay again.
It was an excellent experience to stay at Ennios Boutique Hotel! If I come to Southampton again I will stay again at the same place. Lovely staff, wonderful meals in the restaurant, clean room and very friendly atmosphere! Highly enjoyed my stay there!
Amazing
The room was super clean. The staff were amazing! Professional, polite and smiling all the time!
The hotel’s location is perfect, in the city center just 4 minutes from the bus stop.
I enjoyed staying here to the max, thank you to the grapes staff!
Very friendly staff well organised the hotel was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good overall a great hotel in a great location close to the city centre and ferry and cruise terminals also the shopping centre was just round the corner
It was convenient to both the bus station and not too far for the cruise port. The apt was just off a nice pedestrian area of stores and an ATM was steps away. I likes that there was a fan, as it was historically hot in England at the time.
Location useful for the university/Portswood highstreet. Member of staff on reception during the evening really helpful in sorting out some issues we had with bedding and the sofa bed. It was much cheaper than other hotels closer to town.
Buffet breakfast was great. Room had a decent view over the park. Easy to walk to the hotel from Southampton station, took around 15 minutes, then about 10 minutes to the city centre, maybe 20 minutes to The Dancing Man brew pub!
This is a new hotel, much needed in Southampton. It is close to the medieval section and a wide variety of shopping and restaurant venues. The staff was very helpful.
