Your hosts are a mix of Mediterranean/Atlantic/British/ origins, who have decided to use their knowledge of hosting to create a warm, welcoming environment for visitors to this seaside town. Having always lived by the sea, the most logical way was to run this sort of business or similar, to continue to live close to a major natural watersource. Over the last year there have been some serious health scares, which have made us scale back on the work we can do. The huge damage the high energy bills are causing in our lives cannot be ignored either, and further health investigations force us to shut down our kitchen for breakfasts. The good thing? You can still have your breakfast catered and delivered to your taste by our sister business, run by one of our family members. Full English and vegetarian catered for. Our big price drop reflects the fact the room rate does NOT include breakfast. We allow a leisurely check-out up to 10,30am, and hope you give us the opportunity of welcoming you sometime soon. The New Bond Hotel is a late 1800's Victorian property in the heart of North Shore. A short walking distance from Blackpool North train station, it is conveniently located a road behind North Promenade, a 2 minute walk only from the tram stop, bus stop and seafront / beach. The closest and best car park is on Banks Street, and only a 3 minute walk from us. Drop your bags first, then park. Our family-run Guesthouse provides you with a comfortable bed, a private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. You will find towels, toiletries, toilet paper, kettle, cups, glasses, and a welcoming hospitality tray to last you for your stay. Every 2nd day we top trays up, change towels and remove rubbish. Since we leave an extra bag, you can leave your rubbish outside your room for us to collect after the 1st night, should you need to do so. There is also spare sugar, milk, rubbish bags and toilet paper in reception should you need any. Our place is decorated with warm, welcoming colours, and we are attached to a residential building. It is quiet and much preferred by families and smaller groups of any generation. The full place can be booked for private get-together amongst friends or family members staying at ours. Please check with us for the best price, there is a lot included! We are located in a very good neighbourhood, where some of us have experience and expertise in being hosts for a good number of years now. Part of our large family live at the property, and are always around to help if there are any issues, and to give you any needed recommendations. We operate a quiet hours policy between 10pm and 7am. You can check out anytime before 11am by leaving the keys in the key box in our entrance, or catch one of us who will be around within the property. Or just ring the doorbell, that always works. Wow, well, we couldn't be much closer to the main parts of Blackpool, honestly. Here goes: - Blackpool North train station - 5 minute walk. - Town - 5 minute walk. - North Promenade / Tram stop / Bus stop - a 2 minute walk. - Ma Kelly's, Funny Girls, Yorkshire Fisheries, Sherlock's and Viva - a 5 minute walk from us. - North Pier / Tower / Dungeons / town centre / Winter Gardens / Comedy Carpet / Coral Island / Madame Tussauds / SeaLife - all main attractions only a 10-minute walk from the New Bond. As for getting to Fleetwood, Cleveleys, Bispham, Central or South Pier or even St. Anne's, the solution is really easy. Jump on the tram 2 minutes from ours, and exit at any station you wish. You can purchase day/several days/weekly passes if you will be getting around a lot, as it is a lot cheaper to do so. We are definitely in a good location of Blackpool, and a big favourite for family holidays. Take care, see you soon!
