Lovely clean comfortable guest house set in a very convenient central location. The guest house has onsite parking which is a real bonus in Paignton. The owners were really, friendly, helpful and accommodating. We actually left an expensive beauty product behind, which the owners alerted us to very quickly and posted to us straight away. Lovely guest house, would highly recommend.

Less than a 5-minute walk from the center of Paignton and the seafront, Merritt House is a family-run B&B offering excellent tasty breakfasts made with fresh local produce, free WiFi and free off-street parking. Each bedroom at Merritt House is unique and has free WiFi access and an private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. They also have blackout curtains, tea/coffee making facilities, ironing facilities and a flat-screen TV/DVD player. Merritt Guest House offers quiet family run, friendly accommodation, close to Paignton sea front, harbour and town centre. Our aim is to offer you a rather special stay with unrivalled comfort and delicious breakfasts. Not all of our rooms are listed on here, Check out our Merritt house website for more info and book direct Enjoy a good night’s sleep in one of our seven comfortable bedrooms, all of which have en-suite shower facilities, TV/DVD, complementary toiletries, fluffy towels, well stocked hospitality tray, fan, ironing facilities in every bedroom, super fast WiFi with good connection throughout the house, blackout curtains and more. Merritt House is less than five minutes’ level walk to the bus, mainline and steam railway stations in a quiet street off the main roads, and is on the South West Coast Path. Enjoy the Paignton to Dartmouth steam railway, fishing trips, bay cruises, local golf courses, swimming pool/fitness centre, local 'blue flag' beaches, outdoor tennis courts, and local restaurants/pubs.
