It's set in a beautiful part of the world and a really pleasant village.
The staff were amazing - very friendly.
The rooms were really clean indeed and freshened each day.
You must try the Norfolk Adder cider if you like cider. It's very nice indeed from the draught.
Food was fantastic. Freshly cooked and served on hot plates which ch is not something you get everywhere and mak s w difference.
I will return for sure whenever I am in the area.

The bedroom and living room are huge and a lovely open fire in the living room which makes it feel very homely. Very comfortable furniture and nicely decorated. Kitchen has everything you need for a short stay with good quality cooker and fridge. Some very nice touches, soft drink, fruitcake, pretzels, milk, hot chocolate and coffee all included in the price. Hosts were very welcoming, friendly and extremely responsive to any issue that we had. Would definitely stay here again.

One of the few hotels etc in the area which didn't allow pets, which was good, so a real plus. Hotel was very easy to find and not far to walk into the town, which was handy as breakfast wasn't available, but was still a very good price.

The High Street has a good selection of shops, - not full of charity shops like so many other Norfolk towns, a great little museum in the town hall, there are a couple of pubs, parking on the main road outside the shops was easy and free, there is a fair bit of history in the town, check out the 340 year old clock tower building...
visit the site of the old airfield and memorial, then maybe use Watton as a base to set out from to visit the nearby towns of Swaffham, Dereham and maybe even Norwich.

We went to this location to make a "sentimental journey" back to my husbands mother's roots. He also went to school here for a brief time when he was 8 years old. The little museum was charming & answered many of our questions about the area. One of the docents there, George, was happy to provide us with additional information. There's not much here for the tourist to buy but there is an incredible and fascinating antique clock store in the center of town. The owner here was also happy to share his knowledge & history of the area. The town was much as my husband remembered and the people were friendly and welcoming.
The cottage is super well equipped. You will find everything you might need even torches for an evening walk. The little fire place (easy to light because it is gas oven) makes it even more comfortable. The neighbour is very friendly and there is a nice little pub within walking distance.
Watton has a nice bakery and everything else you can buy in Tescos.
We loved it there and might consider coming back to Watton and the Willow Cottage on our next trip to England.
Fantastic staff we had a request which they happily accommodated, which my cousin who was staying at another hotel in the area on the same night was charged for. Staff couldn’t do enough for you in every aspect.
Rooms was extremely large and I was staying in the so called smaller room, room was perfectly clean.
All rooms face onto a little outside space where they have tables and chairs and benches to sit, for me it was a total bonus.
Situated at the western edge of Watton, which makes it an ideal, centrally located base of operations for exploring the many attractions and historical sites in Norfolk and Suffolk. Has a large open area for parking cars or recreational vehicles (including a charging point for EVs), which definitely can't be said for the majority of properties we considered. We stayed for a fortnight (exactly 2 weeks) and couldn't have been happier.
Duncan and his team run a very professional operation and the food and drinks in Willow House are very good. we were travelling from Cheshire to meet up with friends and we will be staying here again. very comfortable beds, clean rooms, nice touch having breakfast and plenty of tee and coffee facilities in the room, fresh milk and juice in the fridge in the room, loads of clean towels and toiletries. 10/10
Lovely rooms behind a traditional British pub on the edge
of Watton town. Very quiet location, pub food was great,
owner and staff very friendly and helpful. Keys for each
room were yours to keep for the week so no need to
stop by a desk each time you come and go which was
appreciated. nice simple free breakfast included, hot
breakfast and dinner available in the pub.
The bed was comfortable (King) and the room had plenty of storage. In this hot weather the room was a comfortable temperature. The tables and chairs outside were useful and our two relatives were allowed to join us for coffee and chat for a while but we only saw one other guest so presume if the hotel was full that may not be possible in future?
The staff were super helpful and friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was great value for money. I was let down by a different hotel in the area and booked this on the 30 minutes before arriving and was extremely happy that I was able to book here instead. Would 100% recommend this property to anyone planning to stay in the area.
I stayed for one night unexpectedly as was far from home and couldn't go home as had a meeting the next day so would take to long on public transport to get home and come back. It was good that could be booked online and I could go to hotel room almost straight away I had had a very stressful week so to just chill out was good.
Stayed here while passing through. Very clean, very friendly and helpful, nice location with other amenities around. There was a band in which we were allowed into free due to staying at the hotel. Would recommend
The location was great, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The Apartment was better than we thought. such a great outlook onto the course and provides easy access to other Norfolk amenities.
absolutely beautiful hotel, the staff couldn’t of done enough, nothing was a problem. perfect location. lovely and private. rooms are absolutely beautiful. beds are so comfortable.
