House of Mark
House of Mark is within the Cairngorms, the UK's largest National Park, it is a historic building. Erected in 1779, it has been extended several times over the years and was partially reconstructed retaining its Scottish style. House of Mark has beautiful grounds extending to two acres. There are lawns surrounding the house and rolling towards the fields leading to many walks and a large walled garden with beautiful flowers and trees. We make a special effort to look after our guests in the peaceful relaxing Scottish Glens. Please take note House of Mark postcode is DD97YZ and not in Tarfside.

Nestled at the top of Glen Esk, one of the most beautiful Angus glens, House of Mark allows guests to relax in peaceful natural surroundings. To the west lies the Queen’s Well and beautiful Glen Mark which leads to Mount keen, while the stunning route north leads to peaceful Loch Lee and waterfalls.
