breakfast was fantastic and plenty of choice, i had the english breakfast that was very tasty hot and plenty of it.but they had everything on the breakfast menu for all types of poeple room was spotless, greeted with a pot of tea on arrival and a big smile,everything you needed was in the room , hair dryer iron, kettle, toiletries etc, will be booking this again when in the area. no problem parking outside the venue or on the road.

The Glendower is a truly family run B & B with Bob, Lesley and our daughter Carla doing everything from breakfast to rooms to manning the bar in the evenings.

Property info

We go to a great deal of effort to ensure your accommodation and breakfasts are of the highest standard. We use only the finest ingredients and our local butcher makes the sausages especially for us and we also use extremely tasty thick cut bacon. Our rooms are large,spacious and well equipped with free high speed wi-fi. Many of our guests make particular reference to the beds and comment frequently on how well they slept. All our bedrooms are furnished to a high standard,and they all have tea and coffee making facilities (and biscuits), flat screen freeview television and free WiFi throughout, hair dryers and personal security box. Most also have irons and ironing boards.

Neighborhood info

The Glendower is located in a quiet area of Torquay. The walk to the town centre takes you through beautiful gardens past Torre Abbey and Torre Abbey meadow and along the seafront. Most of the walk is on level ground and would take about 15 minutes.
