Lampay Chalets, hotel in Stein

Offering sea views, Lampay Chalets in Dunvegan offers accommodations, a garden, and barbecue facilities. There's a private entrance at the vacation home for the convenience of those who stay.

We enjoyed the seclusion of this property. The chalet was perfect and clean with extras such as fresh hens eggs, homemade jam, homemade pastries, milk, coffee, and tea. Karen provides a surprise for those who stay for at least four nights! Karen and John encouraged us to get out and about on their property including interacting with the days old lamb, petting the pigs, and collecting hens eggs. My husband, nicknamed Anchor Man by Karen, took him with her on the quad to check on the sheep before sunset. It was lambing season and the ewes and lambs were checked on throughout the day. They took us on a tour of their property and up to the top of the hill for awesome views. Karen and John were always available to answer questions about their work and about the area. Our four days there went too quickly! We plan to return! May your anchors always hold fast and your boomerangs return to ye.

29 miles from Dunvegan Castle in Uig, Stones Luxury B&B with hot tub and self-contained rooms offers accommodations with access to a hot tub. This bed and breakfast features a garden.

What an absolutely beautiful location. It was very clean and welcoming. Vicki always has a smile when she sees you and has made her little B&B a place to completely relax. From the muffins, tea, and drinks, to her home cooked breakfast of your choice, she tends to her guests’ every need. The bed was comfy, the room was tastefully decorated, and the view was spectacular. I could walk that little beach for days. We’ll be back!

At first we were a bit worried during our car ride to the location but it was worth it and after a few more drives the road become more and more familiar and it’s actually nice to have such a beautiful and private place to go back to and stay. I wish I could have booked for longer and way more in advance to also do the boat trips. A good reminder for next time.

The location is amazing. Isolated but thats what I liked. You can feel city stress just drain away by the minute. Views amazing, silence at certain times as well was great, so quiet morning and then pace pcisk up as people arrive for drinks and dinner. Food is awesome, fresh seafood. Will continue to come back here. Almost reticent to say too many good things as I want it to remain a secret and not get too bizy

Our room was lovely and tastefully decorated, spotless clean and cosy with a beautiful view. Johnny was a wonderful host, nothing was too much trouble. He is great conversationalist with a wealth of knowledge of the area. His breakfast was outstanding. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

We enjoyed out stay at the inn, and the staff were all wonderful! We brought our own snacks, and enjoyed breakfast and coffee each morning. The staff recommended a lovely 13K hike along the cliffs not far from the inn, which was our favorite part of the trip. A hot shower and a dinner of freshly caught crab at the inn's restaurant was the perfect ending to our day of hiking. We came off season, and enjoyed the peacefulness and mild weather. We would love to return in-season and pop by some other local sights next time. It is easy to get around, as long as directions are loaded in the gps before leaving the inn :) Keep an eye out for potholes on narrow roads after the winter frost!

Great Inn with exemplary staff and service.

Great Inn with exemplary staff and service. Cosy restaurant and bar. Great food and service for dinner and breakfast. Rooms great overlooking Lochbay - small as befitting a very old Inn and great for a few nights. Comfy bed and all usual facilities. Really helpful staff and service. All told a really great location and destination in Dunvegan area of Skye. Highly recommended.

I stayed in this very friendly hotel for two nights.

I stayed in this very friendly hotel for two nights. It was quiet and out of the way. There is an excellent restaurant in the same village which I visited. The food in the restaurant looked lovely, although I didn't eat there (I wish I had had time) and the restaurant was very busy both nights. The rooms were comfortable and ours had a lovely view over the bay and hills in the distance. The bar was friendly and warm a fantastic place to sit after a day out exploring skye.
