This sensitively restored Victorian hotel is set in 5 acres of gardens and woodland, with stunning views over Carmarthen Bay and beyond to North Devon. This charming country retreat is located on the outskirts of the historic town of Laugharne, famous for its castle and more recently, for Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, who did much of his writing in the boathouse there. Broadway House is located between Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire. All the wonders of West Wales are on the doorstep, including Pembrokeshire National Park, local theme parks, picturesque beaches, rugged countryside and Pendine Sands, famous as the home of many attempts on the world land-speed record. Originally built 300 years ago, the hotel was extended in 1914, with a new West wing and the Orangery added. Today, the hotel offers 9 recently refurbished rooms with attached bathroom, the majority with sea views. We welcome dogs in the majority of our double rooms with plenty of grounds for the morning or evening for walk. A freshly prepared breakfast menu awaits with plenty of choice. Wireless internet access is available throughout.

This house was formally a hotel where we have held many weddings and functions along with running a restaurant. Over the past year we have adapted the house into a bed and breakfast house that offers guests a relaxing stay in West Wales where a well prepared fresh breakfast sets you up to explore the local area., and on your return a peaceful setting to relax and recharge.

The house has the benefit of being situated on the cusp of Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire, which means all the wonders of West Wales are on your doorstep: including Pembrokeshire National Park, Local them parks, Picturesque beaches, Rugged countryside and Pendine sands - the home of many land speed records. Broadway Country House is set within 6 acres of woodland, with breathtaking views out over the Carmarthen Bay and beyond to Devon. The house originated 300 years ago, with a new West wing and Orangery being added in 1914. A family run bed and breakfast which offers a relaxing stay.
