What a wonderful find - the Highdown - Brunning & Price is a fabulous pub with comfortable rooms and great service. The full english breakfast was excellent and we loved the artwork displayed throughout the property! The surrounding Highdown Hill area is great to explore with expansive views over the ocean. Great position. Lovely to have larger rooms to accommodate our diverse family. Comfortable; good use of space; basic but totally adequate & beautifully done. Loved the guest service area.

We were very impressed with the public transport very constant and very helpful bus drivers . Plenty of places to eat and drink . The only thing my Lady found a little bit concerning was in some of the vacant shops people sleeping in the door ways I appreciate they are obviously homeless but they all had mobile phones . Cigarettes and alcohol

It was a cold, wet and windy day so we spent very little time attempting to take a walk, but happily found the superb Sea Lane Cafe where it was warm and welcoming. Like everyone, we sat in the upstairs enclosed area, and enjoyed the most delicious soup. The cakes looked wonderful so we bought a couple of huge bits of bread pud to take away - also delicious.

Very nice, seriously cold in winter, but great for a quiet break. Worthing has everything required, plenty of food places and shops. Excellent theatre with great entertainment... Last weekend of every February having an all dayer of Rock n Roll. Easy access to rest of destinations on way to Brighton...... Loads of charity shops selling quality items. Tip.... Leave The Royal Beijing well alone. Food is seriously Not Good.

The town of Worthing has a sense of vitality and fun about it. The population is a mixture of ages and caters to a wide range of tastes. The shopping is pretty good. I love the seafront at Worthing. There is something very elegant about the layout and the plantation of trees and shrubs along the seafront gives it great character.
Good destination for kids of all ages with some well-managed and maintained playgrounds, the beach where sand is accessible at low tide and remarkable soft play and wall-climbing place in the outskirts of Worthing. There's theatre and cinema and the library has a great kids section. There are a lot of eating and drinking places available.

Worthing is a typical seaside town.
Worthing is a typical seaside town. The position of this property is foot steps away from the shingle beach and miles of promenade. There are more facilities now for the young in Worthing plus a free pier and a theatre which has a year round program. The 700 sea front bus travels all the way to Bright in one direction and to Littlehampton to the west.{It does go beyond to Portsmouth.

To be honest, I actually live in worthing, but stayed at the chatsworth hotel as I was getting married.
However, the sea front is a lovely place to walk with the family. The beach is great, very pebbley, but there are wide areas of sand. Several hotels covering various price brackets, lots of restaurants along the sea front. I highly recommend the arcade fish restaurant. A little pricey but the food and service and wonderful. The town isnt tourist centred, it's just your average south coast town, scruffy, not much to do, unless you you want coffee, second hand jewellery or phone repairs!
Room number 6 was lovely, warm and comfy, you had everything you needed in there and there was more than enough tea and coffee plus biscuits and a fridge, the bed was very comfy, there was shower gel, shampoo & moisture lotion, we didn't have time this time but we would love to have a good look around because it is a lovely place, we were visiting family in Worthing and will book here again x breakfast was made special by Andy the chef and Allie the waitress, really personal excellent service!
Wonderful location right on the seafront - the balcony is a major bonus if you stay in the summer months, what a view. Very comfortable flat, well appointed kitchen plus laundry facilities if needed. The added bonus for me was being just a couple of minutes walk to my 2 favourite coffee shops in Worthing. Hosts are very responsive to messages and requests, and were very understanding/accommodating of my delayed arrival.
We had stayed in a very expensive Brighton seafront hotel the weekend before, where the room was stuffy with no aircon and uninspiring room facilities. In comparison, though not perhaps so fashionable, the Windsor in Worthing was lovely. Homely rooms with comfortable beds and pillows, aircon, bath and shower. The room was also surprisingly quiet, despite a wedding going on and the staff were helpful too. Top job.
Excellent location and a balcony with a beautiful view overlooking the sea.
Very welcoming, clean and modern flat with all necessities provided.
Hosts were amazing, friendly and professional and went out of their way to help us stick to a tight time schedule.
Will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Worthing.
We had a very warm welcome and a lovely stay. Room very comfortable and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was fantastic with a great menu full of choice. Although parking is first come first served there was lots of space and the hotel is very convenient for exploring Worthing. Would highly recommend.
The location is excellent, right on the seafront and easy walking to Worthing town, shops, pier and restaurants. The staff/owners were friendly and helpful, it felt like they had made an effort to remember our names and provide a personal stay. The breakfast was cooked to order with great choice.
More than pleased definitely the place to stay in Worthing. Mark the proprietor was a star, very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was excellent the full English was incredibly prepared and delicious. We normally stay at 4 star hotels but from now on we wouldn't stay anywhere else Worthing.
I was fortunate in being able to park right outside (luck of the draw). Worthing is busy but there is a safe multistory CP at the end of the road so no matter if no spaces at the hotel. The room was garden-facing and very comfortable. Excellent value for money mid-week.
The room was spacious as was the bathroom. there was plenty of hot drinks available to us in the room.
The breakfast was very nice with a good choice of food and drink available.
The location of the hotel was great just off the seafront and not far from shops etc.
Brand new, beautiful hotel, very slick, stylish and boujie feel. We were very impressed with the standard of the rooms, felt very cosy like a country home. The staff were so friendly as well, this is now probably the nicest hotel in Worthing! 10/10 highly recommend
The owners of the property were absolutely amazing! They were so kind and welcoming, especially with our children. Breakfast was great and our room was clean. The location was perfect to take in all that the Worthing Beachfront has to offer! We will be back!
Brilliant hotel, quite the best the we have stayed in in worthing. Listed building that was excellently renovated. Parking, large gardens, excellent facilities, ev charging, good food, friendly staff and good location. We will be back.
Location is brilliant for the town centre and seafront.
My partner and l live in Worthing and booked a night at the hotel as we were attending a big family event in the town centre.
Hotel was adjacent to the pub so caused no problems. Plenty of hotel guest parking. Room was comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities.
Very good breakfast with good host
Nice comfortable old hotel with a quirky layout and rooms but well decorated , maintained and cleaned. Nice individual lounge , bar and restaurant rooms and a extensive menu.
