The city was busy and some streets were to narrow for the car we rented. Some signals were confusing about narrow streets endings!
The hotel was very enjoyable. It was a great opportunity to relax and enjoy nature. We could stay longer.
We had great conversations with Christopher. He went out of his way to make us feel at home. We were able to wash and dried our clothes at no extra cost. He even packed for us some goodies for our trip.

Aix was a beautiful and historical place. Every corner is breath taking. It is a stress free environment. We just wondered on foot and enjoyed every minute of it.
Buses to various different places such Avignon is within walking distance in the historic area and the schedule is very frequent. Kiosk personnel are friendly and accommodating.
We enjoyed the markets and was able to purchase a Provencal table cloth sewed by a local lady.
Equally enjoyable was people watching while dining and enjoying Rose (the specialty of Provence) in an outdoor setting by Aix main street, Cours Mirabeau

A great place to visit, steeped in history with plenty of restaurants, bars and individual shops in the old town.
Visited Cezanne's studio and soaked up the atmosphere.
Ate amazingly well.........however it appears that the local French have forsaken their own native cuisine for Italian as there are no end of Pizzerias and burger establishments.
Search and you will find. Probably the best filet steak I've had since living in France for the last eight years was at the 'Cafe Grillon'....excellent fare.
Parking is a nightmare and the roads surrounding Aix at peak times are to be avoided.
A brilliant place for a long weekend........leave the car behind as you won't need it whilst there.
If you do take your car, take a trip to Remy de Provence and Cassis. You won't be disappointed.

Aix-en-Provence is a living tapestry, where historical elegance meets contemporary charm. Walking the Cours Mirabeau was like stepping into a painting, alive with cafes and shaded by plane trees. Cézanne's spirit is palpable, especially in his preserved studio. The local markets are a feast for the senses, offering specialties like the delightful Calisson d’Aix. Aix is more than a destination; it's a taste of the true Provençal spirit.
Rating: 5/5 - Unforgettable and rich in culture, Aix-en-Provence is a city that deserves to be on every traveler's list.

Aix was a lovely city - busy and vibrant.
Aix was a lovely city - busy and vibrant. Lots of lovely squares and loads of restaurants, none of which we found to be especially good. Think we would have had to spend a lot of money on a good restaurant. We had hoped to visit other places by public transport, but that was not easy.

This hotel was recommended by a friend and we were so glad to have followed up on her advise. We really loved the spa. The weather had just turned rainy and cold so we didn't use the pool, but it was lovely and inviting to look at. The room was very comfortable, nicely decorated and had a desk and a small round table with a plant which made it feel homey. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. Parking was almost on-site, very reasonably priced for Aix. Staff were friendly and efficient. We look forward to returning.
A beautiful and grand hotel, with very beautiful gardens but still very close to the centre of Aix - a real oasis of calm and tranquility. All of the staff are incredibly warm, efficient and thoughtful. Wonderful restaurant for dinners, and breakfast outstanding (especially the fruit salad and cappuccinos!) We were travelling with our labrador, and she was given as warm a welcome as we were, and provided with a cushion and bowls in our room. An absolutely lovely visit to Aix, thanks to Le Pigonnet.
Mathew (Matheo) at Reception was superb. He helped me retrieve an item from my previous hotel and got it expedited to reach me in time before leaving the country. He also showed me where to find all the city’s points of interest on the map and was very helpful even though my French was far from perfect. The entire staff was polite, professional and pleasant—making it the perfect overnight or longer term stay! and Aix is not to be missed! merci, Matheo!
What a fantastic location, easy walking distance to everything in X. The room made us feel like we were living in an apartment more than a hotel. The price was extremely reasonable compared to a marque-name-branded hotel. We loved opening the windows and enjoying the breeze while enjoying our lunch. The open markets were terrific, and it was nice not to need a car. A 25-minute bus ride to Marseilles, but for us, Aix-en-Provence is the place to stay.
The hotel was different than I expected, but everything was perfect and the girl at the reception was so so friendly and welcoming.
The Concordia is really just across the road from the old centre of Aix en Provence. There are plenty of restaurants, bistros and takeaways within a very short distance. We stayed here for 3 days and loved every minute.
Also, Aix is full of very pretty shops and boutiques :o)
Our hostess / concierge, Camille, was fantastic. I would hire her in a second. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully appointed. The Maison is centrally located in the old town and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby.
I would stay there again. However next time, I would not take a car. The hotel does not offer parking and it took us 2 hours to find a public garage that wasn't full.
Lovely old building in excellent location central Aix. If you want everything shiny and new this is not for you but if you enjoy traditional provencal ambience this is perfet. You have everything you need in a hotel, good bed, proper bathroom, window that can be opened for fresh air (air con for summer), nice breakfast room. Breakfast nothing spectacular but very correct. Helpful and friendly staff.
This is a unique location; like a tech-campus in the middle of the desert. It offers a great view of Aix-en-Provence and the surrounding hills and peaks. There are hiking paths and boulders to climb just outside the hotel area. The breakfast is excellent, well-balanced and many options.
The room is very clean and modern, the Wi-Fi is good, and the view is spectacular.
Our stay in Aix en Provence was good and the location of the hotel to the historic centre was perfect. The staff at Odalys were fantastic and helped us with several questions and needs during our short stay. The ability to park our car (for a fee) at the hotel was also great. Having the kitchenette was also an advantage in being able to do our own breakfast.
A superb hotel right in the centre of Aix en Provence. Everything is walking distance from the hotel. We stayed in the suite on the top floor which was magnificent with lovely views of the lush garden and environment. Margherita, Anthony and Ines were really welcoming and helpful. We would highly recommend this lovely hotel and would definitely stay again.
The location was exceptional and convenient to the historic center of Aix en Provence. Close by you can find most everything you would need - banks, grocery, restaurants, shops. I'm so happy we booked early with all the events happening in AIP and Marseilles (conferences, rugby games) and this was available at an excellent rate.
The hotel lies in a good position, just five minutes’ drive from Aix-en-Provence city centre. The room was clean and equipped with airco, and the breakfast buffet was also rich and offered both sweet and salty food. Whenever we were in need, the landlady has always been helpful.
This hotel is very good if one's requirements are central Aix, relatively low cost and basic facilities. Rooms are best as single occupancy as small. All of central Aix is in walking distance. We parked at Rambot = multi story 20 euros per day.
On arriving at the Best Western Hotel, the receptionist was very helpful in providing information regarding our room
and parking within the Hotel.
We appreciated the breakfast which was complimentary. Rating: 6/10
Everything! every detail, room, breakfast!
The hotel is absolutely amazing, a piece of paradise near to the center of Aix Provence.
Sandrine and Patrick were amazing hosts!
If you come to Aix en Provence by car, this will be the most affordable place to stay with walking distance to plein-centre. Morning breakfast buffet ($10) is also good.
Very clean, comfortable and well air conditioned. Staff was pleasant and the hotel is indeed, very luxe and ‘boutique’. Very close to the Cours Mirabeau.
It was a nice apartment hotel walking distance to the town centre. The location is the best thing about this place with good parking on site for a fee.
