I was there for only 12 hours. I stayed there when en route from Paris to Geneva, because accommodation in Geneva is very expensive. Bellegarde-s-V seems to be a very good centre for visiting Geneva, Annecy and other places.

Inside it is a friendly and interesting building with much wood and stone, and few straight lines. The bedroom was large under a sloping roof. Quietly located at the very edge of town with attractive local walks on quiet roads. Conveniently close to the autoroute. If you are bored with standard boxy hotels, this is perfect place for you.
