Very cozy hotel, friendly staff, very good restaurant in a small and quiet town layed down between mountains. Although it was our first time in France and in Areches as we got there by chance, we would consider this place for another, longer stay.

Located in the Arêches ski resort, Hôtel Les Ancolies is only 656 feet from the ski slopes and hiking trails. You can relax in the sauna or on the shaded terrace that offers unrestricted mountain views. Decorated with wooden furniture, the guest rooms all have a TV and free Wi-Fi access. The private bathrooms are fitted with a shower and they include a hairdryer. A buffet breakfast is prepared every morning at this hotel, and packed lunches can be made upon request. You can also sample regional cuisine in the restaurant, or dine on the south-facing terrace. A fitness center and a billiards table are among the additional facilities available at this hotel. Free private parking is possible on site. Albertville, with its train station and Olympic Museum, is located 16 mi away. The hotel will also provide a shuttle service to a paragliding center, tennis court and golf course.
