Pitch-perfect mix of rustic and refined. Beautiful grounds, clean and welcoming. Reginé and Louis went above and beyond to accommodate. It’s a uniquely beautiful property and though having some French would have enriched my experience in France, Reginé and Louis had far better command of English than I did of French so I did not suffer as a result of my language deficiency. Even the hand-soap in the bathroom and the shower gel were divine. There is great attention to detail evident in everything they do. I enjoyed how they balance living in harmony with the environment, and how they showcase the makers of Gers and the south of France in the foods they offer and the places they recommend. It was such a treat to stay here. I hope it won’t be the last time.

It was a quaint, charming property in the countryside. very clean. The host was absolutely amazing. the breakfast was a delicious assortment of pastries, crepes, fruit, bread and jam, coffee, and juice. Highly recommend and hope to be back one day.

What struck me most, beside the hands-on attention we received from Helene and Jean were all the value-added details which we had never encountered before - such as detailed tour maps with personal recommendations and explanations, reservations Helene would make for us any where, courtesy cocktail hour each day, phenomenal library on Gascogne to peruse, lush premises with rose garden next to lovely lounging chairs, and on and on.

Located a 10-minute drive from Condom, Maison d'hôtes Las Baillargues de Haut is a B&B set in a 4-acre park and offering panoramic views over the Gers Valley.

Everything about this place is exceptional. The host was happy to carry our breakfast out, so that we could eat under the trees in the garden. It was extremely hot during our stay, but we were able to make use of the fridge and freezer in the hosts kitchen to keep or food chilled. We picniced in the garden and the host provided crockery, cutlery and aperitifs. Very convenient for a visit to Larresingle and Condom which are very close by and Fources which is a must see.

So comforting and updated and unique decorations. We could check in early which was very accommodating and convenient. Lots of small touches you don find elsewhere.
