I recently stayed at the Green Ecolodge in Colomiane and found the experience to be a mix of positives and negatives. On the bright side, the hotel’s comfort and proximity to the slopes were remarkable. It’s always a pleasure to stay at a place that offers easy access to outdoor activities, and in this regard, the Green Ecolodge did not disappoint. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were welcoming and friendly, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere throughout my stay.

This hotel is located on the slopes of La Colmiane ski resort yet is only a 1-hour drive from Nice. It uses renewable energy and has a restaurant with organic, local products. The rooms at Hôtel Green Ecolodge are uniquely decorated with furnishings sculpted from tree trunks and bark. Each room has a balcony with mountain views, free WiFi access and a private bathroom with a bath or shower. A breakfast featuring organic and fair-trade products is available daily. All of the dishes served in the restaurant are sourced from seasonal, local products. Popular outdoor activities in the area include cycling, rock-climbing and tree climbing activities. Hôtel Green Ecolodge is within the Mercantour National Park and 34 mi from the Italian border.
