We came second time to Fecamp and also booked the same hotel second time, because location is perfect, just 1-2 min to the beach, rooms size is good, rooms are equipped. Both times we visited in autumn, rooms are warm and nice. We found parking spot just in from of the hotel, very convenient. Person who met us both times were nice and helpful. Very clean rooms. Really nice experience. This time we even got upgrade and ended up with nice room with ocean view and bathroom with a window to it.

A charming seaside village that is rich in local and maritime history. There is an abundance of attractions that include chapels, abbeys, cathedrals, an exceptionally good maritime museum and numerous easy walks along the beach or the spectacular Côte de Alabastero.

Lovely little town, everything is just a walk away.
Lovely little town, everything is just a walk away. The fishing museum is also a museum of Fecamp and its region and an art gallery, with visiting exhibitions. Take the lift to the top floor for the best views. Really, really interesting and a bargain at 7 euros
100% you have to go to the Palais de Benedictine, it's amazing and right in the heart of town. Samples on offer and a cocktail bar onsite.
Plenty of restaurants at all prices, along the waterfront and Le Rex near St Stephen's Church.
I'm sorry there was no time to go to the Abbey - bags of history there.
And it wasn't beach weather in October but I'll be there next time.

A beautiful city with so much history!
A beautiful city with so much history! Try a dish with salted cod; its a locale thing. Also make certain you take the time to visit Benedictine Abbey!! Make reservations for a tour there LONG before you arrive or you wont get in. If you miss the tour, visit the tasting room and/or the bar. The bar staff can open the shop for you to buy items after hours :) There are few restaurants open to serve meals after 9pm, but there is a place directly across the canal from the Hotel Le Grand Pavois that serves inside and out until 11pm. Food is good but, the portions are HUGE... you can share.

Fécamp has the feel of a channel port that in some ways hasn't changed since the early 20thC but this is to its benefit and reminds one of its counterparts on the other side of the channel such as Weymouth or Bridport, its heyday long gone but it's charm and warmth remains.

Well the fact that it is a a real port ie fishing and trade gives it the extra over others that are just marinas. The museum des pecherie is based on the layout of the Titanic in Belfast and has some incredible items in a well organised and orchestrated building giving you time to soak in the story of Fecamp , its people and history.
Location right on the beach. Restaurants below. Market, pharmacie within walking distance. Incredible, spacious sea views from apartment and private deck. Jacuzzi, sauna, large bathtub, pool table, decor. Coffee maker, kitchen, washer, dryer. If one wanted downtime, just being in the apartment was lovely. So many separate spaces to retreat to OR to gather together. The owner, Sophie, is a joy! Prompt responses. Walking and exploring in Fécamp is worthwhile. Recommend St Trinité church. We had it all to ourselves.
We had a great time at Fecamp and the stay played a big role.
Very spacious apartment that was well kept and very clean.
There's a large sofa, TV (few French channels) and a comfortable bed.
The apartment was equipped with everything we could need (microwave, induction stove, kettle, washing machine).
The extra towels were also a plus!
Christine was also kind enough to let us check-in a few hours before and check-out a few hours later than the standard times which was very nice of her!

We came from Etretat to spend a night in Fecamp.
It is really pleasant city , it is a shame that restaurants are closing so early and you can be very hungry 🤤 in the end.
Apartment was tidy, comfortable and with great view. Good value for 4 people.
Communication with a host was smooth and self check in was really good option since we were travelling by car.
Very clean, comfortable house, providing facilities like washing machine and basic kitchen stuff: salt, oil, coffee filters, dish washing liquid etc. Good place for a family stay. Chose to the market place with groceries, cafés and artisan shops, huge Carrefour drive in supermaket is also nearby. Enough space for a family, calm neighborhood.
Great location with great view over the port of Fecamp and white cliffs. Easy check-in, caring host who supported us with good local information, large and clean apartment was well equipped and maintained. 5 min drive to reach the center or port of Fecamp with all restaurants, 10-15 min walk up the hill to the church with great views
Excellent stay.Host spoilt us with a free bottle of wine in the fridge.Allowed us free use of washing machine and tumble dryer.Nice kitchen.Free garaged parking. Large living area and garden with exceptional views over the town, bay and cliffs. Very responsive and supportive to guests.A highlight on our 5 week trip in France!
Great location, clean and comfortable with secure underground car park (though might present parking issues for some drivers). The hotel is set just a few hundred meters from the beach, right in the port and has restaurants on the doorstep and near to the Benedictine Palace.
If you're looking for an unusual experience, this is for you. We had the whole boat to ourselves, and enjoyed a wonderful trip along the coast with the charming hosts. Being gently rocked to sleep by the waves is certainly not part of the run-of-the-mill hotel experience!
Apartment is really nice. It has everything you need to stay with family in northern Normandy. And Fecamp is just gorgeous city. If you like to stay on quiet, outside place with modarate weather you need to go there. We had great time there.
Excellent and helpful host. Very nicely decorated house and rooms (ours was Japanese motive). Gourmand breakfast. Large variety of cheeses, homemade jams, pastries, hams, teas, and coffees. Free public parking nearby.
Location close to beachfront and plenty of free street parking. More of a quieter seaside feel than nearby Etretat and Le Havre. Staff are very friendly and the hotel is value for money.
Excellent location, in the center of Fecamp with beach and plenty of restaurants within few minutes walk
Free parking in town was much easier than expected
Spacious room and bathroom
everything was great. Lovely place, great location and so friendly and open-hearted host. highly recommended to everyone who will stay in beautiful Fecamp
Very nice loft in the center is Fécamp. Lovely, clean & cosy appartement. The communication with host Alex was very easy & quick. Absoluty recommended!
