Lagrasse is classed as one of France's most beautiful villages & lies in the foothills of the Corbières between Carcassonne and Narbonne and only 40 minute from the beaches of the Mediteranean. The river Orbieu provides excellent swimming in the summer months. Lagrasse's Abbey founded in the 8th century, is shared between the commune and the Chanoines monks both of whom welcome visitors.
