Everything - it’s perfect for children! My younger daughter loved the toys upstairs and my older daughter adored Cindy the dog, who was so cute and super friendly :) It’s a shame we could only stay for one night.

We are the hosts of Silfvastas Holiday Homes, Kaj and Liisa. We are retired single entrepreneurs. We have been hosted for about five years together. You, our guests, are at the center of our service! For you, we are here and we offer our best. Nothing is as wonderful as hearing and seeing that you have enjoyed your stay here. Many will come again and bring a friend. We warmly welcome you as a new customer, too. My husband is a musician, singing and playing a accordion. We like animals, so we have in the the family three dogs and two cats. You can also take your pet on holiday.

We are delighted that we have received so good and encouraging feedback about our service. If there is something we should make better we are always ready to take into account your wishes and suggestions for improvements. It is important for us and surely for you that the living quarters and the surroundings are clean and cozy. Everything you need will be there for you. Free parking and good wi-fi are provided. A beautiful garden and peace make it possible to relax and rest here. Sustainable developement is our goal. We have considered ecological aspects in our service, too. We have geothermal heating system and also the panels on the roof collectin sun energy. Biological and other junk are separated and handled in a proper way. You can contact us easily because we are living on the same plot. Just knocking on the door, so we will come to help. We are ready to guide you to nearby services and other destinations.

Lapinjärvi is a small and charming rural village. There you will find a grocery store, a café, a pharmacy, a post office and a beautiful old stone church. Take a cultural trail and explore the surroundings. There is a lake nearby where you can go swimming and fishing. You can easily go on a nature trip, berry or mushroom. We offer you a bicycle to explore the surrounding area. Here are good connections to the nearby towns, Porvoo, Kouvola, Loviisa, Kotka, Hamina etc. where you find many activities especiall in summer time. In winter, Lahti offers winter activities as skiing. Companies offering local food, such as a fish shop and a bakery, can be found in the area. We have excellent barbecue cabins where you can prepare a tasty meal on site.
