So many things. That is why I don't feel I exaggerated by the high numbers I gave across the board. Service and hospitality lead the way. From Bisrat, Muhammad, the chefs and housekeeping all not only made this outsider feel comfortable but as if I belonged. The Elders that dropped by were like extended family that wished me blessings and warmth each day. The food was superb with everything home made. I loved my room and view so much, it made me wonder what others saw on the two higher floors. This was my fourth country but none were as prompt and timely as their very affordable airport shuttle pickup. And then there was their tour guide, Mr. Adamu, who over the course of two days taught me so much about the Stone Churches in a simple, clear, patient and scholarly way. Not only does he know his work but obviously love sharing it.

Lovely accommodation with very nice staff. The hotel is within walking distance from the Rock hewn churches and within walking distance from some lovely restaurants. The staff were very kind especially the receptionist who was available should you need anything. Comfortable beds with a lovely view.

I spent two days in this fantastic hotel in early December 2022. My experience could not be better. This is the right time to visit Lalibela -still few tourists, I could see the churches alone- and this is the perfect place to stay. The hotel service is amazing, the receptionist  -Abrahaw-  speaks good english and is very helpful, respectful and kind, the breakfast is delicious, the room is very clean and has amazing views and hot water. The best hotel I came across in Ethiopia. You are within 10-15 minutes walk from the churches. The hotel also works with a guide -Ayalew- that provides excellent service for visiting the churches. You will not find better quality for this price!

Der Ausblick war Atemberaubend, der Balkon auf jeden Fall sinnvoll um dort auch etwas zu verweilen und die Berglandschaft zu genießen. Lagetechnisch ist das Hotel optimal gelegen, die Kirchen sind fußläufig zu erreichen, das Personal ist ausgezeichnet und sehr freundlich, ich hab mich sehr wohl und aufgehoben gefühlt!
