Off Beat Guesthouse was opened in June 2016 by Ruben, a Dutch surfer, who fell in love with San Sebastian many years ago. The Off Beat Guesthouse team is a group of young creatives and travelers who work hard daily to make you feel at home. Our check-in hours are from 15:00 to 00:00. We hope to see you soon!

Feel at home in our self-check-in guesthouse where no room is the same! We are located in an authentic Basque building right in the middle of the busy old town. The eclectic interior is a mix of vintage and second-hand furniture and personal travel treasures. Every room has a unique story! Guests are invited to share their ideas and participate in making Off Beat Guesthouse the perfect imperfect hideaway. We offer free Wi-Fi, shared bathrooms, and a liberty of choice of entry time! Be aware that we don´t have an elevator and our guest house is situated in a pedestrian area. You can unload your car or motorcycle nearby and park in one of the car parks nearby.

Neighborhood info

Off Beat is perfectly located just opposite Iglesia San Vicente in the old town, surrounded by the most amazing pinxto bars. The Old town is a reach and always busy area, where happen all the Sunday walks, night outs and main city celebrations*. You´ll find us right in the middle of the two main beaches; La Concha and the famous Zurriola with its excellent waves for surfing. Museum San Telmo and Mount Urgull are literally just around the corner. The modern shopping area and upcoming neighborhood Gros are within a 10-minute walk. The bus and train station are within a 20-minute walk from Off Beat Guesthouse. As San Sebastian is quite a small city everything is within walking distance. Enjoy this wonderful city! *Might be crowded and slightly noisy on the weekend and sunny days.
