Room was clean bed comfortable, Registration staff was very friendly and helpful. Only issues were in the dining room. Waiters didn't speak or understand English. We were provided menus in English and even after pointing to our choices. My partner didn't get his dinner orderrd, but got a large salad. I asked for another glass of wine, pointing to my empty glass and asking for "vinho". I got a bottle of mineral water instead. Coffee was also hard to get at breakfast.

Location is very nice, especially during Christmas time.
Location is very nice, especially during Christmas time. Streets are decorated with Christmas lights everywhere. Lot of restaurants nearby. The big shopping mall across the streets ensure that you can buy almost anything you need. For the transport, taxi is safer then rented car. Traffic there is quite intensive during daytime.

Vigo is a a lovely City to visit, Old City has many excellent restaurants with quality seafood and pork in particular. Taxis are reasonably priced and it offers good train and bus services - Porto is only 2 hours by bus if you want to explore. Santiago de Compostela is a short train journey away.
The new transport interchange is pretty impressive with an integrated shopping mall, they are building an observation platform which will offer fantastic views of the city and estuary.

Vigo is a combination of old and new architecture, with all types of stores everywhere. The water view is beautiful as well as the terracotta rooftops. The city is very vibrant, even in the middle of the week; people are helpful. Some of the buildings are not maintained. It appears to be a pet and children friendly city based on the parks around. It is easy to get around, and there are walking escalators for some of the uphills.

Exploring the old town was lovely. It is a very pretty city.
Exploring the old town was lovely. It is a very pretty city. Although hilly! We travelled from England and found that it was very useful to have some basic understanding of Spanish as it does not appear Vigo is a hotspot for English speaking tourists. We spent a day visiting Ceis Island which was wonderful, definitely something worth doing. We then also took a car and went out of the city to do some hiking which was beautiful, and then visited some beaches on the way back to Vigo, near Oia, which again were stunning and worth the trip.

A city worth discovering!
A city worth discovering! The CIES islands remain the point of greatest attraction, without any doubt!
The only unpleasant thing was the fact that at most of the terraces (those in the Constitution Square, for example) you could not order food until after 20:00. So, I only drank beer :)
We only had one nights stay, which was a shame. we would have loved to have stayed longer. Room wasnt large but well designed. It's super clean and comfortable, and we had a great nights sleep. The staff were exceptional, so helpful, many thanks. Breakfast was superb, wow. Close to train station (make sure you have the right one, as there are 2 stations). Vigo is great and would totally recommend this hotel.
As a part of the B&B hotel chain the outlet in Vigo completely fulfilled my expectations. The room was modern, functional and quiet and clean, too. The staff I came across were friendly and the breakfast buffet offered not only bread and jam but also bacon, tortilla and a selection of pastry. The very city centre area is a 10-15 minute walk away and the Corte Inglés department store even only about 5 minutes.
The hotel is lovely, the room was on the 6th floor with a full-length picture window overlooking the ocean; king sized bed; polished marble floors; huge bath with tub and bidet; super soft sheets; plenty of hot water; airco that was efficient; and everything was remarkably quiet. Early check-in and late departure. We could not have asked for better, particularly after walking the Camino for two weeks.
The room is small but the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is fine. The best aspect was closeness to a wonderful beach that was clean and the water so refreshing after a day on El Camino. Please note that this hotel is located several miles south of central Vigo, which will screw up your walking plans for El Camino. We took a taxi to central Vigo to join friends for walking the next day on El Camino.
Location was excellent, and the apartment is complete and very functional. We enjoyed a quiet and relaxing three days in Vigo and felt very much at home. Yon met us on arrival, provided a professional briefing and good tips, and was communicative and helpful during our stay. We would definitely stay there on our next trip to Vigo.
The expresso machine is a big plus!!
Loved the feeling of home and the nice lighting in the lobby, very comfortable area to mingle . The breakfast was the cutest I've seen in my travels in Spain, and Juan was a very accommodating and kind man. The decorations and vibe is lovely here. Very close to the beautiful Castillo de Castro mirador and the train Station but still felt quiet and safe.
The hotel and the team were great. However Marcus’ customer service when tailoring to our needs was beyond expectation. He supported us in starting our Camino journey and was as equally enthusiastic. This level of care is unique and based on our experience, we will be recommending 1 hotel to stay when visiting Vigo! NH Collection. Thank you Marcus
The room was modern and spacious, with comfy bed and plenty of storage space. The hotel was close to the centre of Vigo and perfect for exploring the Cies Islands (boat is 5 mins walk from the hotel). We were greeted by friendly staff and the breakfast was great, with eggs made to order. Overall a really comfortable stay in Vigo.
Location was outstanding, on the seafront with views over the bay. Good size, spotlessly clean room in a new building. Nice people on front desk and the hotel is in the heart of the action in Vigo, surrounded by bars, cafes and restaurants. Outstanding value for money.
The location is directly off the Camino. There are plenty of food options close by (I would highly recommend Verde Mostaza- one of the best meals I’ve had in Spain). The hotel owner and son were so kind and helpful. The room was beautiful and so clean
We were warmly welcome by the Hotel staff. The room had all the amenities that we needed. The hotel is well located a few meters away from the centre of Vigo, with a park with great views nearby too.
It's a really nice and clean hotel, location is perfect. Receptionists were super nice. There is also free water available. Beds were really comfortable. There's TV in the room as well as a fan.
Hotel rooms nice and clean; great harbour view, esp. when Cruise Ships are arriving.
Lots of restaurants around: Old Town and Plaza de Compostela
Helpful and service minded staff
The hotel is located in an area of easy access to the start of “el camino de santiago” in Vigo. Staff are kind and helpful, and the facilities are clean and comfortable.
I stayed at this hotel while walking the Camino. It was a bit off the path, but I was interested to see Vigo so that was expected. I had a room with a balcony.
