Seville is a city that lends itself perfectly to just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. And there is plenty of atmosphere to soaked up.
People watching is very much a pastime here, and all over Seville restaurants teem with well-heeled locals enjoying a laid-back coffee or cerveza under the shade of a citrus tree.
The city also has its fair share of must-see sights. At the top of the list is Plaza de España whose monumental, semi-circular building is elaborately decorated with Andalusian tiles. Also typically Andalusian is the Seville Bull Ring, though what goes on inside may not be to everyone’s taste. The resting place of Christopher Columbus, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Seville Cathedral is an awe-inspiring structure whose vast vaults provide welcome relief from the heat of the day.
But it’s after dark that things really start to heat up. Streets pulse to the rhythm of flamenco, and with more bars per inhabitant than anywhere else in Europe, there’s no shortage of choice for nightlife.
Just on the outskirts of the city is Seville Airport. Public transport from here provides easy access to the array of Seville hotels, guest houses and apartments that Booking.com has to offer.

A fabulous place for anyone interested in art, architecture, history, good food (> 3,000 tapas bars), original culture. Nice people, lovely weather, very clean, good shops. Lots of palaces, churches, antiquity and parks to explore. Suitable for families, couples, singles, et al. All in all a beautiful city.

Beautiful - but check if any festivals happening (which we should have done). There was a major one (and it was beautiful to watch) BUT it meant parking was even more limited and we had to park a good 20 min walk away with cases. This was our fault, but do check. Do try to see a professional flamenco show - I didn't think I would like this (my partner wanted to go) but it was fantastic. Do things earlier in the day, when it's cooler and less crowded.

I like that you can walk anywere.
I like that you can walk anywere. Love the morish architecture, the narrow streets and the vibe. The Cathedral, Real Alcazar and Plaza de España are absolutely must sees. Remember to buy tickets for the first two mentioned weeks in advance to avoid wasting time in long queues. Make sure to visit a palacio or two, the Museo de Bellas Artes de Sevilla are within a lovely old palacio and have free entrance if you show a European passport.
TIP: If you go just a little bit further out from the big tourist attractions you will find quiet and authentic neighbourhoods with real local life and great and affordable tapas and drinks.

It is one of the most romantic cities in Europe.
It is one of the most romantic cities in Europe. Weather fantastic in spring and autumn, too hot in summer. Do the combined Giralda and Alcazar tour early on in your stay and get a feeling for the history. Pull into bars regularly for refreshments, using tapas to spread your intake and eat only the things you like. It's a great place for a three or four day break. If you are popping over to Cordoba book in advance, it's chaos at the station otherwise. And you may need ID on you for travel, it's asked for more than in UK.

Loved the city!
Loved the city! The best food we have had on a city break, we didn’t have a bad experience! The tapas was out of this world. Great shopping streets in the old town and the city is really pretty. Some stunning places to visit (the Alcázar and las Setas at night were fantastic) but not so much to see that we felt rushed so it was also a relaxing break

We love Seville, there is load to do, its architecture, the smell of orange blossom everywhere (we went in March for the second time). The food was great, but keep away from the really busy touristy bits as the food quality drops significantly. A trip to a flamenco show is a must if you've never been, as is a trip on the river, although if there is a group of you (6+) try and seek out a smaller boat which will not only be cheaper, but much more pleasant. If you want to go to the Alcazar (Palace) make sure to book in advance. Seville is well placed to day visit other cities by train, such as Cordoba, Cadiz and Grenada, just remember to take your passport to the station when booking tickets as they are mandatory?
The hotel is located in a nice area with several cafes and restaurants a walk across the street or a short walk down the road. The old town of Seville with the major attractions are a 10 minute walk along picturesque alleys. The team working the front desk are awesome and helped us with taxis. The housekeeping is exceptional. We ate a good breakfast buffet one morning. Our room was very quiet. You weave around the halls to get to the main entrance, expected given the age of the surrounding area and buildings. Will stay again.
In the middle of the city center. Close to all amazing places within the old town. Everything was within the walking distance from the apartment. It was located in a quiet neighborhood - so we could sleep well. A great place for couple to spend few days in Seville. Great contact with the lady who gave us keys to the apartment. All basic equipment available: ironing board, washing machine, dishwasher, hair drier, fridge etc. There is also a patio on the roof where you can sit and see the sunset over the city.
The hotel is ideally situated in the old town of Seville, within easy walking distance of many of the places of interest and restaurants and bars. Our room was beautiful and quirky, with private balcony, where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning during our stay. Staff at the hotel were also very helpful and attentive. If we visit Seville again in the future, we will most definitely stay here again, and will recommend to friends.
A beautiful traditional hotel overlooking the cathedral and main square situated in the old town. Stunning views of the cathedral and Seville from the rooftop terrace and pool bar. Hotel interior was lovely and cool in the hot weather, full of beautiful Spanish art and antique furniture. We loved this hotel and would definitely stay again. Our room was very spacious, cleaned every day fresh towels and complimentary toiletries provided.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful and the room was amazing, clean , comfortable, tasteful. The location excellent, but the very best was the nice lady on the reception, she was superb. I can't remember the name now, she was just delightful. I think this is on my top ten list of all the hotels I have ever been. I want to thank Soho Boutique Seville for making such good memories for me during my time in Seville. Thank you!
The location worked well for us--near restaurants and a taxi stand. The parking garage was conveniently located in the plaza in front of the hotel, but the parking spots were very tight. The breakfast quality and variety were good. The room was on the smaller side (as expected with most city hotels in Spain), but clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful.
Host Elena was very responsive to questions and issues. House was very good for what we needed—2 bedrooms, at least 2 bathrooms (there were actually 3, which is unusual in Spain!) for us and daughter, son-in-law, and 5 year old granddaughter. Facilities adequate and location great—on quiet street 2 minutes from 10 + tapas bars and restaurants.
The hotel is very central, with a huge terrace on the top and a nice swimming pool. Service and friendliness was amazing and probably the best I have ever experienced so far in Spain. They even offer valet parking, which was very mich appreciated with these narrow streets in the city center. Breakfast is really good!
The property is elegant, and in my four weeks of travel through Spain and France was far and away the best! I wish I knew more about the history of the building but clearly it was once the private residence of a wealthy family. The breakfast was also an excellent value with a very good variety and broad selection
The "queensize" bed was actually 2 twin beds pushed together. The location was great, but Seville's streets are narrow, and Spaniards never seem to sleep, so the abundant noise down there was amplified up here. But that's not the Hostal's fault: it's like that everywhere in Spain.
Excellent location to the old town. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. The breakfast was fabulous with a great variety of savoury and sweet treats. The rooms were small but in keeping with a boutique hotel in an old town location .
Located directly in the old town of Seville in walking distance to all attractions. Lots of restaurants close by. Staff very friendly and gave good recommendations on places to have dinner. Hotel has a very nice interior design - especially the hall.
Perfectly located for all the attractions in the old town of Seville and range of bars and restaurants close by. The staff are amazing; friendly, helpful and very kind. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in Seville.
The staff at the front desk made you feel at home. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Location in the heart of the historic district.
It’s an elegant, classic hotel. It reminded me of the movies with Ernest Hemingway and Ava Gardner in Spain.
The room was spacious, the panoramic view was just amazing, the furniture, the bathroom and the hotel restaurant all were just gorgeous. The staff gave a special offer as it was my first visit to Spain with a free breakfast.
beautiful hotel it’s a set of Jewish houses of the 15th & 18th century interconnected with patios , fountains and beautifully decorated corridors. in the heart of Séville 5 minutes walk from Alcázar, Cathedral and old town
Absolutely fabulous hotel in the centre of Old Town Seville, lovely roof terrace and the staff were friendly and really helpful with any questions. Our room was spacious and very clean
Everything. This was our favorite hotel we stayed at during our trip to Spain. Will be staying here again when we come back and will be recommending this place to friends and family!
