Communication and stuff were exceptional. A special dinner was organized for me and even cooked in my room. The lade who prepared it was unbelievably friendly, knowledgeable about the area and ,helpful. The masisceas great. Access to local hiking trails and gravel roads for cycling superb. Highly recommended.

Cottage in the natural setting of the Alt Empordà and the Massif de l'Albera, views of the castle of Requesens. ACCESS BY A 6 KM MOUNTAIN TRACK FROM CANTALLOPS, PREFERABLY WITH A 4x4 CAR. Do not ride at night if you don't know the path. 15 KM FROM LA JONQUERA PASSING THROUGH THE MOUNTAIN TRACK.
Requesens is a large estate that is located in the municipality of La Jonquera, within the Albera natural area of national interest. It is a place surrounded by forests of high ecological value and exceptional walks. On the farm you will find the castle of Requesens just 20 minutes on foot from the neighborhood, the peak of Puig Neulós or the well-known excursion to the crashed plane in 1986. The Requesens neighborhood comprises 5 tourist accommodations, which allow the stay of up to 30 people within the core of Requesens.
